Vegetarian Stuffed Peppers

Howdy!! When it comes to finding new recipes for dinner, I have been in a rut. I did away with Pinterest a while ago because I was sick and tired of pinning recipe after recipe and never making it lol. So, I decided on a different approach and have just been Googling dinners I am interested in trying. This has been so much easier because I limit myself to the first few five star recipes that show up rather than scrolling through and trying to find just the right one. With this new system, I wanted to try out a recipe I found for vegetarian stuffed peppers from The Modern Proper. It was alright but didn’t blow me away so I definitely plan on making some changes if I make them again! Let’s get to it:

image_50751233(1)image_50452737(4)

When I am looking for new recipes, I always look for simple meals that require minimal ingredients. The recipe for the vegetarian stuffed peppers called for twelve or so different ingredients and you are likely to find quite a few of them in your own pantry or fridge. I did! The prep work for the peppers was easy peasy and only involved chopping an onion, a few green onions, and a bell pepper. What took forever, however, was cooking the rice! I had no idea it would take that long and it turned the prep time into an almost hour long process. I literally finished it in the knick of time during a quick work break and had to leave as soon as I was sure that the rice was fully tender.

After work, all that was left to do was top the peppers with tons of cheese and stick it in the oven. Johnny and I were both SO hungry and couldn’t wait to dig in after it cooked for about forty minutes. The end result was just okay. Johnny didn’t particularly care for it and I wasn’t surprised in the slightest. The biggest disappointment to me was the flavor because it was really bland. The recipe called for one packet of taco seasoning and salt and that was it. I would have preferred a lot more kick to it so if I make them again, I would do my own thing with the seasoning. Cayenne pepper, chili powder, maybe a bit of hot sauce too. This recipe was not the best or the worst and the jury is out on if I would try it again.

Even though we weren’t overly impressed with the vegetarian stuffed peppers, I am glad I gave it a shot. You never know if you don’t try!

How do you like to find new recipes? What are some of your favorite vegetarian dishes? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah

Guest Appearance OOTD

Guest Appearance OOTD

Hello! I attended a work function this past Friday with Johnny to celebrate with his teammates on the completion of a new product. I was really excited because I have never met any of his coworkers before and just had to make a Guest Appearance after my shift at work. It was an absolute blast to sip on drinks and chat it up with everyone who spends part of their day with my better half! Since it was a casual event, I didn’t want to go all out with an outfit but wanted to put together something cute and eye catching. Especially since Johnny did an outfit change to go to the party too! I love how this little look turned out:

image_50757377(3)image_50768897(4)image_50743809(2)image_50456577(17)

Houndstooth Vest: Sincerely Jules, TJMaxx

The black crop top is from Target from forever ago!

Skinny Jeans: 1822 Denim, TJMaxx

Color Pop Loafers: Steve Madden, Walmart

Bat Earrings: AbbieDabbles

The necklace is from American Eagle from forever ago!

I am so not a jeans and a T-shirt girl and when it comes to casual dressing, this OOTD is about as casual as it gets for me. A majority of Johnny’s coworkers are aware of my blog and job so I wanted my look to reflect that without being too extra about it. However, that proved to be more difficult than I imagined because all of my clothes are pretty extra lol! As I browsed through my closet to decide what to wear, I locked in on my houndstooth vest by Sincerely Jules and went for it. I am a huge fan of anything in this pattern and knew I could use the vest as the focal point of the outfit while keeping the rest fairly basic. Exactly what I needed for a low key event!

Since I wanted the vest to do the talking, I went the minimal route for the base of the outfit. My ballerina crop top from Target is old as dirt but it served its purpose well for this look. It also provided just the right amount of peek-a-boo skin that wasn’t too revealing. For jeans, I slipped on my pair of skinnies by 1822 Denim. These are one of the newest additions to my black skinny jeans collection and I am all about that distressing at the ankle. It’s a simple touch but it turns basic skinnies into something a little more special.

Finally, it was time for shoes and accessories. The shoe selection was easy peasy because I couldn’t wait to break out my new Steve Madden loafers! I am obsessed with the bright green pop of color and it packed even more of a punch among the neutral palette established. Last on the agenda was jewelry. I filled the blank space on my torso with a canteen style necklace on a thin silver chain and popped on a pair of small dangly bats. With that, I was ready to hit the work party with my main squeeze!

My Guest Appearance OOTD was a hit at the function and I’m confident that everyone knew who I was as soon as I walked in. And, if they didn’t, a smooch hello from Johnny certainly cleared things up!

Do you like attending work parties? Do you hang out with your coworkers outside of work? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah

Early Holiday Shopping 101

Early Holiday Shopping 101

Hello!!! I absolutely adore the winter holiday season and want to be able to revel in it stress free. Of course, like many, that stress comes from the gift department which is why I like to get a very early jump on my Christmas shopping. I have a big family and that makes for a pretty extensive shopping list! Rather than scramble last minute and pray that the prezzies arrive on time, I avoid that completely by starting my purchasing right about now. This is never a chore but something really fun because your girl loves to shop even if it is for other people! As I prepare to get my holiday shopping out of the way, there are a few things that I always keep in mind. Let’s get started:

Holiday shopping should not break your bank and it is so important to consider your budget to prevent that from happening. The simplest way that I keep my budget in check is by placing a firm amount on what I am willing to spend and sticking to it. Sure, you can leave a bit of wiggle room. However, be wary of wiggling too much because that’s when you can get into trouble. Around now is when I like to pick up a few extra shifts at work and designate that cash for strictly holiday purposes. This is a great way to ease stress later on. Once again, I would much rather do more work now as opposed to waiting into the winter. And, yes, that is because I hate driving in the snow SO. Much. lol!

Considering your time doesn’t exactly apply to online and in store purchases now. But, if you are going the handmade or custom made gift route, it is absolutely something to think about. Custom orders can take a decent amount of time to get done and it might take longer as the holiday season approaches. It is best to get these out of the way ASAP to avoid that. Homemade gifts are an amazing and most loved way to go and completing them in a rush could be very frazzling, to say the least. Chip away at your homemade goods when you can so you can more fully enjoy the craftsmanship and skill involved. Then, your gift will be made with love instead of hair being teared out. 😀

Early holiday shopping is all about knowing what should be purchased at the current moment and what can wait until later. If you see an item for your giftee at an awesome price, then go for it now! Chances are you will not find it at a better price later if it is already a total steal. The same goes for clearance or seasonal products, get them now or they will be gone. It is also helpful to think about where you like to buy holiday gifts at. Do they run sales often? Do they have a big Black Friday or winter Semi-Annual Sale? If that is the case, it might be a good idea to wait until the prezzies you have your eye on are on promotion. This is a-okay, but you will want to be cautious because other people might be scoping them out too!

There are so many different ways to do holiday presents so talk to your family and friends and see about switching things up! Perhaps you will have a White Elephant party? Maybe everyone will have one specific giftee to shop for? Or how about everyone pitches in for an experience style gift all together? This can be a really fun way to make new family traditions while keeping stress at a minimum. There is no right way to do the holidays so get creative and go for it. Whatever it is will be perfect for your nearest and dearest. ❤

With that, I am ready to get my shop on and am already looking forward to holiday memories with my loved ones!

Are you an early or last minute holiday shopper? What is one of the holiday traditions in your family? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah

Lil Red’s Book Club: Nailbiter Vol. 5 “Bound By Blood” By Joshua Williamson Edition

Hello everyone and welcome to a brand new edition of Lil Red’s Book Club! In a spoiler free setting, as always, we are going to discuss the fifth volume in the Nailbiter series called Bound By Blood. Like its predecessors, I devoured volume five in one sitting. There are only three more volumes left in the series and I have been trying to exercise self control to draw it out. However, I just can’t stop reading once I crack open a new one – it’s that good! Before we begin our chat on Bound By Blood, I will be placing a big fat trigger warning for gore, graphic violence, and disturbing content. Now, let’s get to it:

IMG_8902

We can’t very well dive into Volume Five without recapping a few things. In Volume Three, we learned that Sheriff Crane is actually Alice’s mom and she put her daughter up for adoption. Any guesses on who the father is? If you said Crane’s high school sweetheart, Edward “Nailbiter” Warren, then you are spot on! We also experienced a shocking finale in Volume Four – the murder of Eliot Carrol by a one Agent Barker of the FBI. If you recall, Agent Barker, Finch, and Warren were working a case in Atlanta, Georgia. With Barker detained and the biggest lead on the mystery of the Buckaroo Butchers dead, Finch and Warren have no choice but to head back to Oregon and continue the investigation.

Back in Buckaroo, Sheriff Crane is still working the lead that Warren gave her about the town doctor – Doctor Glory who is almost certainly involved in the mystery of the butchers. She is assisted by Buckaroo’s mortician, Reverend Fairgold, and a very unlikely source – a freshly released Butcher whose name is Joy. She is much better known as The Blonde, though, and she offers insight, intel, and the hinting of even more information on Warren. We are also introduced to another Butcher named the Fatal Killer who has never been caught, dead or alive.

As Sheriff Crane is hard at work, Alice is struggling. After the news of who her father really is spread like wildfire, she was kicked out of her foster home and is terrorized by classmates. Dear old serial killer dad is back in Buckaroo and wants to help his daughter avoid a self fulfilling prophecy of becoming a killer too. Rather than take Alice to the tunnels under the serial killer graveyard, he takes her to school instead. The tunnels there don’t lead through underground catacombs but to a lab that is filled with tanks of blood.

In the laboratory, we learn exactly how Doctor Glory was involved and why, but there is no time for that now. The masked killer in black is hot on the tail of Alice and Warren as they have their father/daughter outing. The duo is forced to split up as the situation gets dicey. Warren gets away, but Alice ends up in the grips of the killer yet again. This time, he has other plans than to kill her. He wants to introduce Alice to The Master. Who or what is it? Keep reading Nailbiter to find out!

Bound By Blood was an exciting read because we received tons of missing pieces to solve the mystery of the Buckaroo Butchers. We gained a lot of intel, most importantly about the lab in the school that Warren took Alice to. Of course, we were only given as much as Joshua Williamson wanted us to have and it only intensifies the anticipation of Volume Six. There is the potential that these clues don’t mean anything or mean everything, but Bound By Blood really made me feel like we are on the right path for the first time in the series.

Volume Five also treated us to the tying up of several loose ends – primarily in bringing Sheriff Crane and Warren into present day as a mother and father. This is an especially intriguing point in the plot because there is no telling how Alice, their daughter, factors into it. In Bound By Blood we see her struggle between good and evil in real time, begging the question of where she will end up by the end of the series. There are so many possibilities and I have my theories. I can’t wait to see if I was right. 😀

One other point of interest that Bound By Blood brought us was the more formal introduction of two of the Buckaroo Butchers. We got to know The Blonde and the Fatal Killer in a more in depth way than just a few blurbs throughout the series. This is something that I have been hoping for as I work my way through Nailbiter as there are sixteen Buckaroo Butchers and we don’t know a lot about the majority of them. I am keeping my fingers crossed that Volume Six will allow us to better see the rest of the Butchers as our protagonists continue their investigation!

Overall, I am going to rate Volume Five of Nailbiter with an eight out of ten stars. I loved the different story lines, new characters, and information that we got out of Bound By Blood. I have a feeling that Volume Six is going to be the craziest yet as the series winds down!

What are you currently reading? What should I read next? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah

Decision Making 101

Decision Making 101

Howdy!! I don’t know about all of you, but I have a very difficult time making decisions. I stress, ruminate, and let anxiety build up until I just keep doing the same thing without making any changes. It’s understandable – any kind of change can be scary and I find a lot of comfort in the same old, same old. This past week, however, I had to make some really big work related decisions and it sucked lol. I am pleased to report that I made it through on the other side. I’d be a liar if I said I wasn’t still feeling some residual stress about it, but I know that I will feel much better in time. These are some of the things that helped me as I made choices and maybe they will help you too:

If you’re like me and simply the thought of major changes puts you into a tailspin, then first and foremost, you need to chill. Sound decisions can’t be made when you are in distress so try and relax. Take deep breaths, sip a cup of tea, or have a hot shower. Whatever you need to do to put you in a calmer state of mind. Then, you can revisit the decision that needs made when you are feeling less frazzled.

The most common way to make choices is to weigh the pros and cons and there is a reason for it – it is always effective. Grab a pen and paper, pull up a notepad on your phone, or type on the computer and start thinking about the good and bad that could come with each option. It will be so helpful to see your thoughts right in front of you rather than let them swirl around your head. Your initial pros and cons might be subject to change so don’t make a split decision immediately. Give it a day or two, revisit it, and see if anything or nothing needs reevaluated.

There is a high chance that whatever you are struggling to decide might effect other people. This can throw a huge monkey wrench in the process because, of course, we don’t want choices to negatively impact others. This is where I have the most difficult time and often just resort to doing the same thing. However, you need to think about yourself. Sometimes, what’s best for you isn’t best for the people that it might effect and that’s okay. Yes, you read that right: It’s okay. Doing for you isn’t always easy, but it’s necessary if you want to keep moving forward in a positive trajectory.

Maybe you have weighed your pros and cons and are still nowhere closer to a decision. If that is the case, think about your gut, heart, and mind. This is what it ultimately boiled down to as I made my work related choice. I knew exactly what I wanted and I had a hard time working up the nerve to just do it. Listen to yourself and what your body is telling you. The answers you need are all there so don’t swamp yourself down with the “what ifs” or you might end up getting stuck. I admit that I was stuck for over a month until I was able to do what I needed to do for me. All it did was cause me more stress as the situation festered in my head and that could have been easily avoided. Changes take time, though, and if you need extra time that is totally fine but it might make making the choice even harder if you drag it out.

I feel good about the decision I made because I know it will be good for me, even if it doesn’t feel that way right now. I also feel like I have a better grasp on making choices for the next time a situation arises – hopefully!

How do you make decisions? What is something you struggle with? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah

Concert Cutie OOTD

Hello everyone and welcome to a brand new OOTD here on lifewithlilred! A few weeks ago I attended a concert at Blossom Music Center with my sister to see one of our favorite bands, AFI. We had an absolute blast and it was the most perfect sister’s night out! I didn’t have time to take outfit pics before we went to the show and by the time we got there, it was already going in full swing. Even if it weren’t, I was a sweaty mess after making the long trek to the venue from our parking spot so it was no harm no foul. I did love what I wore, though, so I wanted to make sure Johnny snapped some pics over the weekend to show all of you. Check it out:

image_50430209(14)image_50725633(5)image_50725377(4)image_50447617(13)image_50731777(7)

Handkerchief Top: Japna, TJMaxx

Boyfriend Jeans: Banjara, TJMaxx

Platform Heels: Olivia Miller, Walmart

Skeleton Hand Earrings: These were a Christmas gift from my bestie!

For the AFI concert, I wanted to put together an All Black Everything OOTD which only seemed appropriate considering I am the textbook definition of an “elder emo”. This look was kind of up in the air because a show at Blossom is tricky to dress for as it is an outdoor venue. There is a lot of walking involved and you never know what the weather is going to do on a summer evening. I decided that jeans and a top would be a good compromise, especially if there was a chill in the air. But, I wanted to stay cool enough because I knew I would be dancing my ass off so my handkerchief top by Japna was the way to go. Yes, it’s cute AF but it also allowed for ventilation as I got my groove on. And, of course, I’ll take any chance I can get to show off my tattoos!

In the pantaloons department, I selected my boyfriend jeans by Banjara. I simply adore the relaxed fit, distressing, and the huge rhinestones for a bedazzled pop. The more roomy style was also much appreciated as my sister and I hustled and bustled through the venue and it was nice to be wearing something that wasn’t clinging to my skin. I loved the silhouette created by the tight top and baggier jeans because it added some visual interest to make the eyes dance. This was further accentuated by the difference in texture of the silky top and denim jeans.

At the concert, I actually ended up wearing a pair of Nike tennies. The last time my sister and I went to a show at Blossom, the platforms I had on ended up breaking on our way to the venue. I was SO not trying to repeat that again! These pics were shot at home, however, so I could wear whatever shoes I wanted and couldn’t wait to break out my new pastel pink platforms by Olivia Miller. The unexpected sweet as sugar hue made for such a fun touch! Finally, it was onto earrings and I popped on a pair of dangly skeleton hands from my bestie. With that, I was concert ready – albeit several days after the fact!

I felt like a star in my Concert Cutie OOTD and it was just right for a summer evening out. I stayed cool and comfortable the whole time and had the best time with my big sis!

What was the last concert you went to? What is your favorite concert venue in your neck of the woods? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah

Just Get The Plushie!

Hello!! Right now is one of my favorite times of the year. The weather is cooling down and that means spooky season is basically already here lol finally! A majority of stores already have their Halloween collections out, including TJMaxx. On my break during work, I made a quick visit to TJs to pick up a few Back To School prezzies for my niece. And, of course, I had to peep their Halloween decor too! Unfortunately, their selection wasn’t anything to sneeze at and I was disappointed to have not found a spooky themed snow globe as per my yearly tradition. However, I did find the most adorable plushie so check out my new pal:

IMG_8898IMG_8900

^^^ Lol at the close up shot!

Johnny and I are plushie people and have countless stuffies that we like to snuggle up with when we are watching TV or retiring for the night. As soon as I saw the candy corn plush at TJ’s, I knew it was coming home with me because 1) Johnny would love it too. And 2) We have a corn dog plushie that Johnny won for me at the county fair last year and it would be funny to have two corn related stuffed animals. My parents also happened to be at the store running errands and when I showed my dad Mr. Candy Corn, he said something to the likes of “you’re just pissing your money away”. All I have to say to that is…

Lol, yes you heard me. Buy the damn plushie and enjoy your treat. I feel like people my age (Thirty somethings) are very in touch with their inner child and it is okay to spoil yourself with purchases like a stuffed animal. We are in tune to the “treat yourself” culture and if that treat puts a smile on your face and doesn’t break your bank, then go for it! It’s no secret that the times we are living in are totally whacky and people are stressed and scared. Items like a plushie bring comfort and it’s not surprising that I know so many people in mine and Johnny’s age group that gravitate towards them. It’s not weird and it’s not a stupid purchase. Rather, it’s something little that you can do for yourself and, most importantly, who cares what anyone else has to say about it. I sure don’t!

Johnny and I adore the new addition to our plushie collection and I didn’t put the candy corn stuffie down from the moment I brought it home. It was a twelve dollar investment and worth every penny and then some. Pissing money away? I think not!

What is one of your go to treat yourself purchases? What is something you collect? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah

If The Shoe Fits: Steve Madden Loafers Edition

Hello everyone and welcome to the next edition of If The Shoe Fits! Thanks to an ad on Facebook, I learned the joys of shoe shopping online with Walmart. I was so surprised that they had the Olivia Miller platforms that you saw yesterday that I decided to search for shoes from another brand I love too: Steve Madden. Not much caught my eye while I was browsing until I scrolled by the amazing pair of loafers that we are going to take a look at. They are the coolest and were only twenty dollars – talk about a steal! In total, I spent thirty-four dollars for three pairs of shoes and it doesn’t get better than that. Check it out:

IMG_8892IMG_8894

I am a huge fan of loafers and used to have two pairs of burgundy and electric blue in high school. Then, I graduated to wedge loafers that I purchased almost a decade ago and haven’t bought another pair since. My wedge loafers are absolutely worse for the wear, but I never found a suitable replacement until this new pair by Steve Madden. The heel might not be as high as my old pair and I wish it was. However, where these loafers lack in height is made up for by that funky pop of green. It is so unique and creates a brand new, punk rock style out of such a classic pair of shoes.

While I have enjoyed parading around in platform heels all summer, fall is never far from my mind. My new Steve Madden loafers definitely made this hankering for crisp autumn days even stronger. I cannot wait to wear them paired with knit dresses and tights and adding that peek a boo green heel to All Black Everything OOTDs with signature fall staples. When I shop, I am always looking for edgy takes on classic pieces. These loafers emulate that to the T, were bought on the cheap, and are a worthy placeholder to my old wedge pair that I can finally throw out. 😀

I am so happy with my shoe haul from Walmart and still can’t believe how little I paid for three brand name pairs of shoes. I will consider this purchase to be my version of Back To School shopping! 🙂

What is your favorite style of shoes? What is your favorite brand to buy shoes from? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah

What To Do If You’re Worried About Your Dog’s Health

Standard
What To Do If You’re Worried About Your Dog’s Health

Are you worried about the health of your dog? If you are, then you should address it ASAP. You need to see if you can work out what the problem is first, unless you think that they need medical attention, at which point, get it right now. If you don’t think it’s serious but you are concerned about their health overall, then you need to do something, and that something includes making changes that are simple for you to do. In this article, we’re going to be taking a look at some of the changes that you can make to your dog’s health to see if it improves:

First, have you considered changing up their diet? What kind of foods are they eating right now? What dog food do you give them? What human food do you give them? Make a list of all of these things, and then see if anything immediately jumps out as wrong, and double check online that all of these foods are safe for your furry friend. If there is something that isn’t safe for them, removing it from their diet will help.

You may also want to change the brand of dog food that you are using, as this may help you to see a difference. Sometimes, some dog food brands don’t react well with some pups, but that’s okay because it happens to humans too. Give it a switch and see if that works.

Perhaps you are worried about them because they are not that active. If they used to be active and now they are not, then this is a definite cause for concern and you should also be looking out for other signs and symptoms that your dog isn’t feeling good. Or, if the reason they don’t exercise much is because you don’t have that much time, you need to make time. Dogs need to be able to run around and exercise for at least half an hour a day, more if you can give it to them. In the same vein though, you don’t want to go too far and go overboard, so keep that in mind.

If you think that there is something that’s not right, and it’s something that you are not going to be able to fix yourself, or you simply cannot identify the issue, then take them to the vet. The vet will be able to check them out, let you know if anything is wrong and then work on what happens next. Keep in mind that there are alternatives to surgery in some cases, and it’s worth looking into them if this is where you are right now. For example, you can contact a company such as Go Hero Go if your dog is limping, potentially looking into braces for certain conditions rather than surgery.

The final thing that we’re going to say is that you should ensure that they have all of the love and affection in the world. Sometimes, your dog picks up on your moods, or they are sad because they are left alone a lot and don’t feel loved. Nobody wants to feel unloved or as though the one they love doesn’t have time for them, and your dog is no different. It should not be a difficult thing to sit and cuddle your dog, or to give them some pets and let them know that you love them. That dog is part of your family, and deserves to be treated as such if you want their health to improve.

Your dogs’ health is your responsibility, and it’s one that you have got to take seriously. If you are worried about their health and you think that something is wrong, then you have got to do something about it sooner rather than later so it doesn’t turn into a bigger issue.

If The Shoe Fits: Olivia Miller Platforms Edition

Hello everyone and welcome to a brand new edition of If The Shoe Fits! I don’t know about all of you, but scrolling through my Facebook newsfeed only makes me want to shop. The vast majority of my ads are, unsurprisingly, clothing, shoes, and accessories. It can be extremely tempting and usually I am able to exercise self control. However, I simply couldn’t pass up the deal of a lifetime when I saw the platforms we are about to take a look at. They are Olivia Miller brand and were purchased online at Walmart for eight bucks a pop. How can you beat that?! Check it out:

IMG_8886IMG_8890IMG_8888

I am a shoe girl through and through, but I have not purchased a new pair in literal years. The last edition of If The Shoe Fits was in February of 2022. And, yes, I absolutely justified this online order because of that! I love Olivia Miller shoes and am always excited for fall weather to roll around so I can wear my favorite pair of chunky heeled boots. I was shocked that Walmart had the brand available and for so cheap too. I would have been mad at myself if I didn’t get them! Walmart had these platforms in four different colors – black, white, pastel pink, and pastel purple. Trust and believe I would have bought the lot if the black and white pairs were in my size. The pastel pink and purple will do just fine but I may or may not have been checking back in on Walmart’s website to see if there has been a restock. *Fingers crossed!*

I was really excited for my new shoes to come in the mail because it has been a long time since I got a new pair. Ordering these platforms was the perfect treat for the perfect price and I am pleased to report that they are just as fab IRL as I imagined them to be. They give off such Bratz doll vibes, which I am living for. I’m not going to lie, I wish that one of these pairs was in black, but the sweet pastel hues play into the fashion doll aesthetic even more and I am definitely okay with that. My new Olivia Miller platforms will be such fun to wrap up the summer with but I can’t wait to wear them in the fall. How cute would they be paired with sweet socks and patterned tights? The answer is: Too cute!

I could not be happier with my Olivia Miller purchase from Walmart as well as one additional pair that you can peep tomorrow. I think I might have to start shopping Walmart fashion more often after this highly successful introduction!

What is one of the best deals you have gotten in store? What other stores have shockingly good fashion options? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah
