Johnny’s Birthday Shenanigans

Johnny’s Birthday Shenanigans

Hello!! This past Saturday was Johnny’s 35th birthday and the kick start to our birthaversary season. Our respective birthdays and wedding anniversary felt like forever away. Then, before we knew it, May was done and it was time for your two favorite Geminis to take over! For my birthday this Friday, we are going to the Olive Garden and renting the new Strangers movie at home. Johnny requested a birthday dinner too and wanted some of our friends to come by on his big day. Although his original dinner spot was a bust, it was still a banner time indeed!

image_50462465(7)image_50437377(8)image_50768897(3)image_50737153(4)image_50419457(12)bug2bug1bug

Our Plan A for the birthday boy was to go out to eat at Outback Steakhouse on Friday. Despite there being literally nothing for this vegetarian at Outback, it’s not every day your husband turns thirty-five! After work, we made our way to the restaurant and we were both verging on hangry. We were leaving early enough that we assumed we would get seated right away. However, as the old saying goes, assume makes an ass out of U and ME lol. Apparently, everyone and their brother was graduating from school that day and the parking lot was filled with people ready to celebrate. With a line out the door, we had to pivot to Plan B and went down the street at an Akron staple restaurant called Rockne’s.

Rockne’s is one of Johnny’s favorite restaurants and we finally ended up going together. It’s not like I didn’t want to go with him before. But, like Outback, there is literally nothing for this vegetarian to eat at Rockne’s! On the bright side, we got seated immediately, drinks were served, and we were both beyond ready for our meal. Johnny got a gigantic sub and I went for their Cajun pasta. It was no TGI Fridays (Their Cajun pasta is the BEST!), that’s for sure but at least my hanger was satisfied! After our dinner date, we went home to play some games and tuck in early for Johnny’s big day.

On Saturday, we spent the first half of Johnny’s birthday preparing the apartment for our guests and hanging out. By the time the evening rolled around, it was SO on! My brother and our bestie, Cliff, came over first and we had a blast playing some Mario Party all together. Then, my brother headed home and our friend Ty joined as shortly afterwards. It was so nice to catch up because we have all been so busy that we haven’t seen each other in what felt like ages. About an hour into our get together, I couldn’t wait to go to bed and Johnny set me up with a bowl of cereal and put Tarzan on TV upstairs. From our room, I could still hear the guys playing music, games, and laughing constantly. It’s safe to say that the party definitely was still going without this sleepy gal!

On Sunday, Johnny and I spent the day recovering from all of the birthday fun. It was a small price to pay for the best time celebrating my amazing guy!

How old are you turning this year? How do you like to celebrate your birthday? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah

Midweek Date Night

Midweek Date Night

Hello! Johnny and I have very demanding schedules for work and we both tend to be up around three in the morning most days of the week. Because of this, it is extremely rare for us to do anything during the work week because we are too tired. Not to mention that we both go to bed around six o’clock lol. On Monday, I accepted a new job as Tim Misny’s social media manager. On Tuesday, Johnny asked if I wanted to go to our favorite Mexican restaurant, El Meson, on Wednesday to celebrate. I was absolutely shook when he brought it up and happily accepted his offer!

bugbug1

All day on Wednesday, I was looking forward to our date night and was using all of my strength to will time into going faster. We left for El Meson as soon as I got home from work and I was buzzing the whole way there. I literally can’t remember the last time we did a dinner date during the week! At the restaurant, we were having so much fun sipping on tasty margs and feeling dizzy with delight over my new opportunity. Our first date was on a Thursday and I told Johnny that this felt like our first date.

After we finished our meal, Johnny asked for a to go cup for the rest of his margarita. I realized I needed one too and followed our server to the bar to ask him for one more. As I returned to our table, I got stopped by a few people sitting at the bar. One of the ladies asked if Johnny and I were on our first date because we both looked so happy. She couldn’t believe it when I told her that we have been together for almost five years and I actually just told Johnny that our evening felt like our first date. We both got a little weepy about it and it was so incredibly sweet. Then, Johnny and I joked that we were just really good at faking our happiness lol – classic!

I truly did have all of the first date feels during our celebratory dinner date and I love that this was apparent to other El Meson patrons. I felt so spoiled to be taken out to my favorite restaurant and am so thankful to have such a stand up guy! ❤

What was the best first date you have been on? What is your favorite restaurant? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah

*Trying* To Take It Easy

Standard
*Trying* To Take It Easy

Hello!! The irony has not been lost on me that the past two times that I had any time off from work were spent being sick. I spent my week long holiday break this winter with RSV and had another week off due to a nasty virus at the beginning of the month. It was a huge bummer to be sick over the holidays, but I’d be a liar if I said it wasn’t awesome having some time off this second time around! As someone who has been self employed for almost a decade, it is incredibly difficult for me to justify time off – even if it is for fun things like vacations. However, after enjoying being sick more than I probably should have, I realized that I really do need to make an effort to *try* to take it easier. So, I have been doing the following:

Sleeping In:

I have always been adamant about waking up as soon as my alarm goes off because I need my jam packed days to run like clockwork. This proved to be very hard after a whole week of getting up sans alarm, though. After my sick spell, I have given myself permission to hit the snooze or even sleep for another extra hour. And guess what? My days still are going without a hitch and I feel much more well rested too. This isn’t an every day thing, but I have been taking advantage of getting some extra shut eye on the days where I have a bit more wiggle room. I have noticed a huge difference in my energy levels and will absolutely continue with this!

Face Masks:

One of my sick day rituals was using face masks so I could feel some semblance of pampered while I was a gross, sweaty mess lol. This is another thing that I have been sticking with and I have enjoyed a weekly face mask since the beginning of March. I tend to do this as soon as I get home one day during the week and even though it’s only a twenty minute process, I see its merits. Rather than diving into the next thing I have to do (computer work, cooking dinner, cleaning), I am able to take those twenty minutes to recharge and continue going about my day. This is a win/win because I love doing skin care and I feel like it gives me a second wind until bedtime. It’s amazing what taking twenty minutes for you out of your day can do!

Making Plans:

I can’t tell you the amount of weekends I have spent doing literally nothing because I am too tired. Then, I would go about the work week feeling disappointed that Johnny and I didn’t do anything fun at all. While we still have our lazy weekends, we have both been making an effort to do more and have a good time during our time off. Within this past month alone, we have reincorporated date nights and I have tried my best to make plans (and keep them) with my friends. For a long while, I was going through the motions of the work week without much to look forward to once the weekend rolls around. Now, Johnny and I have been adding at least one fun outing to our weekend and it has been fantastic. On Mondays, I feel happy with the hang outs we’ve had and am eager to see what we’ll do the following weekend.

I have been on the grindset mindset for so long and, although these seem like small changes, they are huge to me. I plan on continuing with all of these improvements and adding new ways to make things easier for myself when I feel like I need it. I already notice a difference!

How do you take time for yourself? What are some improvements that you have made recently? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah

A Night At The (Movie) Theater OOTD

A Night At The (Movie) Theater OOTD

Hello! This past weekend was an absolutely fantastic one and was jam packed with SO many activities. Most noteworthy was on Saturday when we went to a screening of The Room at the Nightlight theater. This wasn’t just any screening, though, because it was hosted by Greg Sestero who played Mark! Meeting Greg was one of the best, most cool experiences of my life and Johnny and I are still in awe that we read lines from the script of The Room with him. For our night out, I put together a fun little look so let’s take a look:

image_50456321(14)image_50756865(3)image_50757377(2)image_50739201(5)image_50727425(5)image_50438657(7)

^^^ Ya’ll know I love me a brick wall! 😀

Who? What? Wear?

Leopard Print Blazer: Christian Siriano, TJMaxx

The Room T-Shirt: Christmas gift from my sister!

Coated Skinny Jeans: Seven Jeans, TJMaxx

Heeled Boots: Olivia Miller, TJMaxx

*** The turquoise cross earrings are Lucky Brand

For this OOTD, I wanted to be cute (of course) but I also wanted to be comfortable in the movie theater. I suppose I didn’t have to worry about the comfort level too much in hindsight, though, because Johnny and I sat in plush recliners and it was glorious! Regardless, I think I still would have worn the exact same thing because I love a blazer and skinny jean combo. It is casual yet oh so chic and I like that this look was more understated but still unique enough to be eye catching.

To begin this outfit, I started with the obvious. That being my T-shirt that my sister got me with Tommy Wiseau on it and the phrase “You’re tearing me apart, Lisa!”. I mean, you’re not going to not wear some Room merch to a screening of it. This shirt was actually on the merch table at the theater and Greg and I had a laugh that I already had one! And, trust and believe I had my own copy of The Room on DVD and The Disaster Artist locked and loaded in my purse for him to sign too. 🙂

The next thing I did was slip on my coated skinnies by Seven Jeans. These are one of my absolute favorite pairs and I love the surprise snakeskin pattern when the lighting hits just right. Because I was just wearing a T-shirt, I wanted to spice things up where I could and these jeans added a pop of visual interest that a normal pair of skinnies wouldn’t provide. Another perk of my Seven skinnies is that they make my legs look a mile long and that is difficult to come across on my barely over five foot one frame.

Once the base of my outfit was settled, I shopped the blazer department in my wardrobe and selected my leopard print blazer by Christian Siriano. This piece truly embraces the “comfy, but make it fashion” vibe I was looking to achieve. It is made out of the softest cloth material and it honestly felt like I was wrapping myself in a blanket rather than a blazer. Adding this little leopard print number also shows off the technique of mixing and matching patterns. Since the snakeskin pattern on the pants and the leopard print on the blazer were both fairly subdued, I got away with putting them together. They also featured a similar color palette so they worked in tandem rather than clashing.

Finally, it was onto shoes and accessories. For shoes, I went with one of my favorite pairs of heeled boots by Olivia Miller. They provided an extra boost of length as well as a touch of bling with the silver chain because I didn’t plan on adding much jewelry. When you are mixing and matching patterns, that serves as an accessory in itself. So, I popped on a pair of turquoise cross earrings for a bit of color and was ready for my Night At The (Movie) Theater!

I had the best night out with my Johnny and I think I looked my best too. Here’s to many more screenings of The Room together! ❤

Do you have any questions about mixing and matching patterns? What is your favorite cult film? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah

Greg Sestero Meet & Greet

Greg Sestero Meet & Greet

Hellooo everyone! I don’t know about all of you, but Johnny and I had a banner weekend! On Friday, I got dinner with my bestie and then a few of our friends came to the apartment. We had a date night on Saturday and on Sunday we celebrated my sweet niece at her fifth birthday party. For our date, Johnny and I attended a screening of The Room at the Nightlight theater in downtown Akron. The best part of all? Greg Sestero who played Mark was there!! Check it out:

image_50409985(5)image_50423553(9)image_50429441(6)image_50406913(7)image_50362625image_50416129(9)image_50365441(1)image_50390273(3)

I was introduced to The Room by a theater friend when I was in high school and it will forever be one of my favorites. I have been to countless midnight showings of the movie in Cleveland and have made all of my friends and family watch it with me too. In fact, Johnny and I watched it on our first date! It has always been a dream of mine to go to a meet and greet session with Greg Sestero or Tommy Wiseau. Unfortunately, their tours always take place in locations like LA, New York, or Portland so this dream has never came to fruition. Until this weekend!

Thanks to one of the social media pages I manage that is all about entertainment in Akron, I learned about the Greg Sestero event at the Nightlight. I bought tickets for me and Johnny immediately and was counting down the days until March sixteenth. I have been looking forward to this for so long and our evening at the theater was everything I ever hoped it could be and so much more. It’s not every day that one of your lifelong dreams comes true. 🙂

When we arrived at the Nightlight, I couldn’t believe my eyes. Greg Sestero was just there lol. Johnny and I were one of the first people to get to the theater and we were able to walk right up to him. We chatted, took selfies, Greg signed my copy of The Room and The Disaster Artist, and I bought a copy of the original script of The Room that Greg signed too. It was SO insane to meet Greg and I was incredibly nervous. I shouldn’t have been because he was nice as can be and welcomed all of us moviegoers like good friends.

After our meet and greet, Johnny and I grabbed some drinks and made our way into the theater for the show. We sat right at the front in comfy recliner chairs and this was an excellent choice… Before the screening of The Room began, Greg came in to introduce the movie and talk a bit with all of us. Then, he pulled out a copy of the script for The Room and wanted some audience members to read lines with him. Since Johnny and I were right in front of him with our own copy of the script, he chose us to play Johnny and Lisa. And, of course, Greg read as Mark. We flipped to page eighteen and read about two pages worth of lines together. It. Was. AMAZING!!!!

The screening of the movie was not as rowdy as prior ones that I have been to, but we all had a ton of fun. Although we didn’t do some of the traditional chants and phrases throughout the movie, we were all laughing hysterically, cheering, and yelling out our own quips to make us laugh even more. After the show, Greg came back in for a Q&A and told us he could hear us all perfectly from way outside the theater! The talk back session at the end was enlightening and Greg answered all of our questions (including two of mine) truthfully and with good humor – he does a stellar Tommy Wiseau impression! This was, hands down, one of the best nights of my life!

I am still elated from mine and Johnny’s night at the Nightlight and I don’t think it will ever wear off. I will be looking forward to when Greg or Tommy comes close by again so fingers crossed they make their way to Akron soon for round two!

Have you ever seen The Room? What is your favorite quote from it? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah

Hello everyone and welcome to the blooper reel from my Date Night OOTD! Despite getting sick the following day, Johnny and I had a wonderful dinner date at Mike’s Place and I can’t wait for our next night out together. Here’s to hoping I don’t get sick again afterwards smh because that really would be just my luck! I loved the look that I created for date night and it was so fun to show it off. Let’s keep the good times rolling with some pics that are not the most love-worthy of the bunch lol. Check it out:

The irony is not lost on me that literally every time I take time off is because I am under the weather. I rarely take work days off because it does me no favors since I’m self employed. I wouldn’t say that I lived it up during my week of being sick, but I didn’t not enjoy the time to myself? I made my own little schedule of working from home for the first half of the day and then lounged with my shows until Johnny got home from work. Being able to put on whatever I wanted on the TV was SO freaking awesome and I felt spoiled by it even though I wasn’t feeling well.

Now that it’s back to work, I find myself yearning for my TV time around noon and I don’t know if that will ever go away. All I know is, that while being sick sucks, I was living my best life with that schedule! I mean seriously, how great is that? Work a handful of hours from home and then just be done? That’s the dream! I mean, I probably would get bored after a while but that didn’t happen at all when I was sick so who’s to say lol. Another thing I know for a fact is that I will be daydreaming about my sick leave schedule for the foreseeable future! 😀

It feels good to start getting back into the swing of things and now I have a new happy place for my mind to go to when I need it… On the couch, with my bunnies, watching all of the shows that Johnny despises!

What is one of your favorite TV shows? What is a show your partner likes that you can’t stand? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah

Date Night OOTD

Date Night OOTD

Hello! This past Friday, I enjoyed a wonderful date night with my sweet Johnny. To me, there is nothing better than a night out with my husband because it means we will both be serving looks! I absolutely love getting dressed up with Johnny because we both have really unique personal styles and it’s fun to show that off together. We are definitely a couple that turns heads when we step out because of bold fashion choices, body mods, and big personalities. It just adds to that “night on the town” vibe and it is simply the best! This is what I wore for our dinner date:

image_50739969(5)image_50430209(10)image_50416129(8)image_50439937(7)image_50756865(2)image_50453249(3)

Who? What? Wear?

Oversized Button Down: Zara

Tank Top: Rachel Zoe, TJMaxx

Skinny Jeans: American Eagle Outfitters

Skeleton Platforms: Dolls Kill

Skeleton Hand Earrings: These were a Christmas gift from my bestie!

Wooden Necklace: Made by John Deveer

As per ushie in Ohio, you just never know what kind of weather you are going to get. On Friday, it was in the high forties and pretty overcast so I knew that I didn’t want to wear anything too heavy, but still be covered up against the cold. As I browsed my wardrobe boutique, my oversized button down by Zara caught my eye. Not only has it never been worn in an OOTD post before, but it was just what I needed for the weather. This button down clearly has a very grungy vibe given the color, length, and the phrase “there are no rules” plastered across the back. With a piece as obviously as one particular style as this one, all that was left to do was go grunge to complete the look!

The next order of business was a top to wear under the button down and I kept things simple with a plain white tank. While I could have gone the band tee route, I still wanted to be able to show off my shape. When you’re petite and rocking an oversize piece, it’s important that the rest of the look fits like a glove to keep from being totally overwhelmed by fabric! I slipped on my black skinnies afterwards and tucked the tank in so that the high waisted fit could be seen. Normally, I don’t care for high waisted, but this was a strategic move to give myself some more shape underneath the button down.

Finally, it was onto shoes and accessories. For shoes, I immediately went with my skeleton platforms from Dolls Kill. These just scream “grunge” to me and I thought they made my legs look a mile long! I popped on a pair of gorgeous skeleton hand earrings my bestie bought me next, but still needed something more. After shopping my accessories department, I chose a handmade necklace I got in Atlanta with my mom and brother. It is one of my favorites and I thought it tied the look together beautifully because it blended so seamlessly with the established palette. With that, I was ready for a fabulous night out!

Johnny and I were both huge fans of my Date Night OOTD and it was compliment central when we were at Mike’s Place. There is nothing better than rave reviews for an outfit and it made me feel so good! ❤

How would you describe your personal style? What is your partner or best friend’s style like? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah

Date Night!!!!

Hello!! This past Friday was simply wonderful! It has been a fat minute since Johnny and I went on a date night and that is exactly what we did. My sweet Johnny suggested a dinner out on Friday and we had both been looking forward to it all week. Rather than go to one of our usual haunts, Johnny had his heart set on Mike’s Place in Kent. This was perfectly fine by me because we haven’t been there since we got married! For our wedding, we spent the weekend in Kent and had breakfast at Mike’s before heading home. It was just as delicious, kitschy, and completely fun as I remember it being almost three years ago!

image_50445313(8)image_50754561(4)image_50397953(6)image_50437889(9)image_50416385(13)image_50420993(8)image_50417921(12)image_50461441(10)

Mike’s Place is a beloved eatery in our neck of the woods and for good reason. The menu (as you can see) is expansive and offers options for any dietary restriction. This is something that is greatly appreciated by my vegetarian self and despite having access to the entire menu with substitutions, I was relieved that they had a “veggie” portion in their menu. There were just too many options! Mike’s Place has literally any dish or drink you can imagine and the roadmap menu is peppered with hilarious names and jokes for each item. You could seriously go there every day for months and not order the same thing twice!

While the food is enough to make you want to keep returning to Mike’s again and again, the restaurant is so much more than that. The atmosphere is so welcoming and accommodating and the service is excellent. And, don’t even get me started on the decor because Mike’s is like a museum! Johnny and I sat in a literal bus for our meal and it was awesome. The walls and ceilings are covered with crazy art and fixtures and each room has a specific theme. It really adds to the excitement of going to Mike’s Place because you never know where you’re going to end up.

For our drinks, Johnny went with the Dragon Slayer and I had a Margarita. I wasn’t overly impressed with my marg, but Johnny definitely loved slaying the dragon! We also shared a Peach Sangria that was simply delightful. I ordered cheese tortellini with white sauce, salad, and garlic bread and enjoyed every bite. Johnny got his classic bacon cheeseburger and French fries and he slayed that too lol. The French fries were SO good – super crispy on the outside and soft as can be inside. We were stuffed by the end of our dinner, both with food and feelings lol. ❤

Johnny and I ended our date night as we normally do… Playing Diablo IV. We had the best time going out and plan on making a night out a more regular occurrence. I think we will both be happy if we go to Mike’s Place again next time!

What is your perfect date night like? What is one of your favorite restaurants in your neck of the woods? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah

A Night At The Theater OOTD Bloopers

Hello everyone and welcome to the blooper reel from my Night At The Theater OOTD! Yesterday, you saw the look I created for an evening at Playhouse Square to see The Wiz. The show was absolutely wonderful, but the picture taking experience? Yeah… Not so much. Yesterday, I told you to stay tuned to find out why the amount of OOTD pictures was severely lacking and that is what we’re going to discuss today. Not until we look at these blurry yikes shots, of course! Let’s get to it:

image_50737665(7)

Normally when Johnny and I go to a Playhouse Square show, we make a whole event of it. We’ll go out to dinner, get a drink at our favorite bar in the area, then head to the main attraction. Having this time out before we’re even at the theater gives the perfect opportunity to take pictures away from a huge crowd. And, of course, it’s so much fun! Seeing The Wiz, however, was different because Johnny and I felt like taking it easy for the day and going straight to the show.

This was totally fine with me because we were both wiped out from a long work week. However, I had forgotten how difficult it is to take pictures at Playhouse Square! It basically sucks. We arrived at the theater with about forty-five minutes to spare to hit up the bathroom, take pictures, and get drinks. Had I planned better, we would have taken pictures at any old place beforehand. But, alas, I didn’t and it was a mad dash because everyone was arriving at the theater when we were.

Taking pictures at Playhouse Square is a delicate dance. You have to stake out a spot and pray that you have thirty or so seconds without anyone walking by. Much easier said than done! Not only is it hard to take the pictures to begin with, but they never turn out good anyways. The lighting outside of the Connor Palace is so low and yellowy and it isn’t what is needed for a quality shot. Not to mention that every single picture turns out blurry AF and I’m not sure why. I was lucky to get three pics that I was somewhat happy with!

Next time Johnny and I don’t have a pre-date before the actual date of seeing a show, I know better than to think we will be able to take pictures at the theater. This was a massive, epic failure for OOTD shots. A huge win for bloopers, though! 😀

Where is your favorite place to take pictures? How early do you arrive for an event you are attending? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah

A Night At The Theater OOTD

A Night At The Theater OOTD

Hello everyone and welcome to a brand new OOTD here on lifewithlilred! Last weekend, Johnny and I enjoyed a fantastic evening at Playhouse Square where we saw The Wiz. Like TJMaxx, Playhouse Square is my happy place. I love attending the excellent plays and musicals that are put on and, of course, I love the fashion. Getting dressed to the nines for A Night At The Theater brings me great joy and it is such fun to see other people’s interpretation of a night out look. This is mine:

image_50415361(7)image_50445313(5)image_50452993(5)

^^^ Wondering why there are so few pictures? Find out during the blooper reel tomorrow!

Who? What? Wear?

Topper Jacket: Happily Grey, TJMaxx

Sweater Dress: Forever 21

Lace Cami Top: mittoshop, French Rooster

Snakeskin Pattern Boots: Marc Fisher, TJMaxx

Hoop Earrings: Argentino Vivo, TJMaxx

The necklace was my grandma’s ❤

A few days before attending The Wiz, I purchased my new Happily Grey topper jacket from TJMaxx and I knew that I wanted to wear it to the show. Playhouse Square is the fanciest place that Johnny and I go to and the topper jacket screams luxury to me, making it a perfect choice. The look that I styled for our date night is actually what I pictured in my head when I first tried the jacket on. I am pleased to report that it turned out exactly how I envisioned and I felt like the belle of the ball!

To start, I put on my burnt orange sweater dress from Forever 21. This dress is literally old as dirt, but I wasn’t concerned about it because I kept my jacket on all night. It was also a strategic decision to wear it. The color was just what I needed for the rich fall palette I was establishing and most importantly, it had length. While the jacket would have been fine over jeans and a top, I wanted something more than that. The sweater dress was high low, hitting at the bottom of my knees and down to my ankles and it gave the peek a boo pop I pictured underneath the jacket. (It is worth mentioning that for the sake of being warm, I did wear jeans under the dress. It was freaking freezing the night of the show! This dress was also quite low cut, but that is nothing a lace trimmed cami top can’t fix.)

Next, it was onto shoes and accessories and I had just the pair in mind. For shoes, I selected my gorgeous pair of cobalt blue snakeskin pattern heeled boots by Marc Fisher. I am so enamored with them! I love the more burnished hues of fall like the gold in the jacket and orange of the dress. However, I wanted to perk things up by adding in a jewel tone and these boots gave me that opportunity. Their length was also ideal because they hit right where the “high” portion of the sweater dress ended. This allowed for the jeans I had on to be fully covered and kept the outfit moving seamlessly from piece to piece.

Finally, it was time to wrap things up with accessories. Because a more delicate pair of earrings would have gotten lost amidst the faux fur jacket collar, I went bold with a huge pair of gold hoop earrings. These babies by Argentino Vivo are my favorite! I thought that the earrings would be enough, but the outfit felt like it was missing something. To fill the open real estate on my neck, I chose a beautiful necklace from my grandma of forest green. It tied the outfit together perfectly and added another color to my All Fall Everything palette.

I felt like a star in this OOTD and it’s always nice when an outfit I dreamed up turns out the way I wanted without making any tweaks. Johnny and I had a fabulous Night At The Theater and here’s to many more!

What is the fanciest place that you go to? Do you go to the theater often? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah
