Homemade Holiday Gifts

Howdy everyone and welcome to the last gift guide for the holiday season! Throughout the month we have been discussing gifting options for everyone on your list and today we are going to explore the world of homemade gifts. We are down to the wire for holiday shopping but fear not! These homemade prezzies will not be time consuming to create while still being incredibly thoughtful. Let’s get to it:

I gave my niece a photo album of all of our pictures together for her birthday this year and she absolutely loved it. If you have a cache of photos with your bestie, mom, or anyone on your list – use them! A homemade photo album is as easy as printing them out at the drugstore, purchasing an album, and filling the pages. You can keep the album simple with just photos or jazz it up with scrapbooking supplies or little notes about when the picture was taken. However you do it, a photo album is a gift that will always be treasured.

Local screen printing shops have a very speedy turnaround meaning that custom clothing, office supplies, or sports gear is just a visit away. Bonus points because you’re supporting small businesses! How about a custom mug with the logo of your giftee’s business? A silly slogan tee for your brother? A jersey with your favorite sports enthusiast’s last name on the back? All of this is possible so if this idea speaks to you, head to the printing shop ASAP to ensure your gift is ready on time!

If there is a nature lover on your list, you could make them their own terrarium or fairy garden. Small plants and succulents and potting soil will be available at a store like Lowe’s and the rest can more than likely all be purchased from a craft store. You can go classic with a terrarium filled with pretty pebbles or pond stones or go creative with a fairy garden filled with tiny details and hidden surprises. This gift combines the great outdoors with unique home decor for a one of a kind gift.

Mason jars tied with pretty ribbon and filled with the ingredients to make cookies, soup, or bread is a gift that can be made in an afternoon after a trip to the grocery store. Tasty, thoughtful, practical, and so super easy – this is a perfect last minute homemade gift. If you want to add more to this prezzie, you could include a gift card to a local bakery so your giftee can enjoy a freshly made baguette with their soup. Or perhaps you can give a cookie sheet or bread pan along with the ingredients so your giftee can continue creating bakery magic.

If you are gifted in the art of graphic design, then gift it! Maybe you will make business cards for your cousin? Draw up that tattoo that your partner really wants? If you have giftees in a band you could design posters for their next show! If you don’t have the time to design for everyone on your list, that’s a-okay! You can schedule a lunch to sit down and discuss what they would like and the visions they have. Amazing art never goes out of style and your giftees will have something that no one else in the world will have. That’s way cool!

Homemade gifts don’t need to be a month long project. These ideas are as easy as a trip to the store!

Are you skilled in any mediums of art? What is the best homemade gift you have ever received? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah

Feed The Birds

Feed The Birds

Hello! For as long as I can remember, my dad has had a fondness for filling the bird feeders in our yard every morning. Rain, snow, sleet, or hail he is out there being a modern day Saint Francis and is essentially the Postal Service of bird feeding. We all have a morning routine and this is his and I think it is truly awesome. My dad loves nature and takes time every day to appreciate and nurture it and that is something that we can all learn from. To take the time out of your day to do an activity you really enjoy. Once the bird feeders have been filled, we simply sit back and enjoy my dad’s good deed because nature puts on a show afterwards!

Before my dad has even stepped foot inside after his morning routine is complete, a full fledged feeding frenzy follows and we can see it all perfectly. My dad has expertly placed the feeders so we have a view of them from the windows and we love to bird watch together. Not only does my dad care for these birds but he knows so much about them too. He is always teaching me the names of unfamiliar ones and tailors the bird food options specific to the native birds in the area as well as the ones that have visited briefly and he would like to see again. It’s fascinating to listen to as we gaze out of the nature window in awe.

It’s exciting to see the guests that come to the feeders but my favorite has always been the Cardinal. My mom always says that when you see a red bird, then it’s a good day and I think of that sentiment every time I see one. And, although I am not a fan of winter, there is nothing better than seeing a beautiful Cardinal against the freshly fallen snow. We have also recently had several species of Woodpeckers stop by and they are so striking too! There have been at least three different kinds and my dad has told me all of the names before but I may or may not have forgotten. That’s okay, though, because I know my dad will bring me back up to speed the next time we take a peek through the nature window together. ❤

No matter the weather, my dad’s happiest place to be is in the yard tending to his plants and wildlife friends. He is best wildlife warrior around!

What is your favorite outdoor activity? Do you have bird feeders in your yard? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah

Tech Gift Ideas

Tech Gift Ideas

Hi hi! Another gift guide? Coming right up! Everyone uses technology every single day of their lives, making tech gifts an extremely viable option for holiday shopping. This is an easy category to overlook as we often think of technology as being expensive. That isn’t always the case so let’s explore a few gifting options that will be gentle on the wallet while still delighting your giftee:

Literally every app has some type of Plus or Premium membership to purchase. If your giftee is using an app every day and maintaining a strong streak, this could be a great way to go. I personally know that this makes an awesome gift because Johnny got me a membership to Duolingo Plus for a year a few Christmases ago and I was ecstatic! Not only do these subscriptions get rid of annoying ads but it unlocks content you can’t use without it. It will make their app experience even better!

Phone cases, charms, screen protectors, earbuds, chargers, tripods, and ring lights are all handy gifts that can be used immediately. Your content creator friend (Like me!) will be thrilled with some shiny new equipment as much as your friend who is constantly losing their phone charger will love a backup. This sentiment is especially true for yours truly as our bunnies once pulled a Houdini and chewed through our phone charger! New earbuds will be ideal for your gym bunny bestie. Simple, practical, done and done.

At this day and age, who doesn’t have at least one streaming service? We have several so I say the more the merrier! A month subscription to a new streaming service or one your giftee already has can either save them some moolah or introduce them to a brand new favorite show. If there is a show on a service that they would love to watch without the commitment of signing up, this is your sign. I definitely feel that way about a subscription to Apple TV!

We’re not talking the kind from the library – we’re talking EReaders and audio books! If you have a literature enthusiast on your list who prefers to read their Kindle or listen to a book on the way to work, why not throw some credits their way? Reading more is such a popular New Year’s Resolution so you can help them achieve their goals or just indulge in their favorite hobby. No matter how you read, there is nothing better than a good book on a cold winter day. Add a big mug and some teabags or K-pods to create a perfect afternoon.

Got a gamer to gift for? How about some gift cards for the Nintendo Switch or PlayStation if you aren’t sure of a new game they would love? Don’t forget to explore accessory options like new controllers, a headset, or travel cases. You could also go the experience gift route like a night at an arcade bar or a trip to a VR cafe. Game on!

These tech gifts won’t break the bank but they will for sure make your giftee break out in a smile!

What is on your Christmas list? Do you have anyone that is difficult to gift for? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah

Stocking Stuffer Gift Ideas

Stocking Stuffer Gift Ideas

Hello! I may be a Halloween girl through and through but there is something about Christmas that just hits different. My suspicion? Because I love to shop even when it’s not for myself lol. I pride myself on being an excellent gift giver and revel in the process of finding that perfect something for everyone on my list. The hard part is waiting for months on end to give it to them! As you wrap up your own holiday shopping, let’s take a look at some small prezzies to put in your stockings and hang above the mantel with care:

If you have a family of brick enthusiasts, why not add a small Lego kit to the stocking? Lego has a ton of tiny holiday themed sets to choose from including Santa, snowmen, Mini Fig Advent calendars and more. Once your gifts are unwrapped, you can assemble them together and make your own holiday scene. For extra creative fun, you could give a bag of assorted Lego bricks and have everyone do a brainstorm build with the pieces they have. You can create categories like best ornament or best decorated snowman and give prizes or just bragging rights!

Candy is such a classic stocking stuffer but let’s kick it old school. 😀 Current candy? Been there done that. Retro candy? Always fun to taste test! We’re talking candy buttons, Zott’s, candy necklaces, Pop Rocks, and all of that sweet sugary goodness. This blast from the past approach will delight kiddos and adults alike and gives a twist on the same old. Bonus points if you have a local candy shop in your neck of the woods to support.

While a care package for your adult children might not necessarily fit in a stocking, the sentiment remains. I have always loved the idea of the adult Easter baskets filled with cleaning supplies and that can easily translate to Christmas. A few rolls of toilet paper, paper towel, bathroom and kitchen cleaner, and Magic Erasers are all great options. Although this is not the most exciting gift, it sure is practical and one that I would love to receive. Toilet paper is low on my list of things I like to shop for for myself lolol.

Everyone needs a bevvie to sip on during gift exchanges. Cue the stocking stuffer! You can provide specialty sodas or juice for the kiddos and airplane bottles of booze, mini wine bottles, or mocktail cans for the adults. Add in a bag of popcorn, trail mix, or mixed nuts to nosh on and you have a perfect snack to tide everyone over until dinnertime.

Countless stores have a section specifically for travel size beauty and basic care items so hit it up! Bath & Body Works is an excellent place to start with as they offer both men and women’s travel size items and are always on promotion. A hand sanitizer, body wash, and lotion in a compact size is just right for filling those stockings and keeping everyone smelling and feeling fresh to death. 😀

Stocking stuffers are the opportunity to have some fun with add on gifts. Hope the ideas above can help! ❤

Do you hang stockings at home? What are some of your stocking stuffer ideas? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah

Can You Truly Be Prepared For A Financial Emergency?

Can You Truly Be Prepared For A Financial Emergency?

Financial emergencies can strike any of us at any time. Whether it’s due to a personal injury, an incident on the road, or a sudden major household cost we can find ourselves scrambling to get our finances in order and to avoid falling into debt any more than we need to. Today we’re going to look at some of the preparations you can put in place to make sure that you’re better able to handle those emergency costs when they do arise:

The best way to prepare for an emergency is to make sure that you have some safeguards in place well in advance. First and foremost, put together a savings goal to establish an emergency fund. These should typically cover three to six months of essential expenses, including housing costs, groceries, transport, and other non-negotiables. That way, you can make sure that you have enough of a cushion to get through crises that are as major as even a job loss.

Insurance is often overlooked until a crisis hits, but having the right policies in place can prevent emergencies from becoming financial disasters. Make sure that you’re investing in the essential coverage, such as home or renters’ insurance, health insurance, and car insurance (that covers as much as you need), and consider additional coverage, such as income protection to ensure you’re protected even if you’re put out of work for a while. Keep an eye on your policies, checking them yearly to make sure they cover the most probable issues you might face.

Sometimes, a financial emergency may stem from an event that wasn’t your fault or responsibility. Whether it’s an injury at work or a car accident, having the number of a reputable lawyer can make a big difference. With a personal injury lawyer, for instance, you can make sure that the person responsible for your injury is also made responsible for your medical bills, as well as any money that you might lose as a result of being put out of work. A good lawyer can help you understand your rights, avoid costly mistakes, and navigate insurance claims more effectively, too.

While you typically want to avoid having to borrow in order to deal with sudden expenses, sometimes you might have no other readily available option. Keeping your credit score high can offer a significant advantage, allowing you to utilize loans or credit cards with good interest rates, instead of having to rely on more unreliable sources of funding, like payday loans or secured loans that could lead to much worse financial outcomes and higher interest payments.

Emergency situations are an unfortunate part of life and the best thing you can do is be prepared to face them!

What Have We Been Watching?

Hi! Johnny and I have basically every streaming service known to mankind and it is both a blessing and a curse. Does anyone feel like there are endless options on streaming services and seemingly no options? Lol, that’s usually where we’re at and just end up putting on comfort shows. However, our tune has recently changed and we have been watching several new to us shows that we are really enjoying. HBO Mondays have become our tradition and I look forward to it every week! Let’s discuss:

This show is so weird lol. Long story short, a guy with a big new job gives a fantastic introductory speech. He sits down afterwards and his chair breaks. Then, he slowly descends into madness and unlocks a huge conspiracy about the chair company that was the source of his embarrassment. It’s usually pretty funny with a VERY healthy dose of “wtf?”. I think Johnny is liking this show more than me but it is entertaining enough and already has a second season locked down. Whatever happens is sure to be ridiculous and also big shout out to The Chair Company as its location is in Canton, Ohio. That’s about twenty minutes from me!

The piece de resistance of our TV time has got to be Welcome To Derry, a prequel to Stephen King’s “It”. Now, this is what I’m talking about! As soon as I get home on Mondays, I cannot wait to watch Welcome To Derry. The episodes are scary, the kids it revolves around are adorable and hilarious, and the acting simply can’t be beat. The performances in this show are absolutely mesmerizing. Chris Chalk as Dick Hallorann steals every scene he is in and just pulls you into the horror of the situation at hand. If you are looking for an excellent horror series then I truly can’t recommend Welcome To Derry enough.

Johnny and I are avid fans of NBC workplace comedies and one of our favorites is Superstore. We have watched it more times than we can count and it will never not be funny to us. We gave The Paper a try, was thoroughly unimpressed, then went back to Superstore lol. However, we needed something more and have recently started watching St. Denis Medical. This is more like it! It’s essentially Superstore vibes set in an emergency room at the hospital. In fact, some of the cast members of Superstore are in it! It’s just nice to put a show on and have a laugh and St. Denis Medical is definitely scratching that itch.

There are so many things that my sweet husband does for me but you will never catch him watching reality TV with me! That is a hobby that is uniquely my own and I revel in it. During my Covid stint, I watched a lot of Gypsy Rose – Life After Lockup and really enjoyed it. No matter how you feel about her, it’s just interesting to watch Gypsy learn about normal life, her instant rise as a celebrity, and how she deals with it all. I loves me a prison or post prison show and this one is a friendly reminder that you can always turn your life around!

There is nothing better to me than cozying up on the couch with snacks, my main squeeze, and a good show. I don’t think I’ll be complaining about having nothing to watch for a while!

What are you currently watching? What is one of your guilty pleasure TV shows? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah

Covid Chronicles

Covid Chronicles

Howdy!! On Friday morning I was ecstatic. I had a short shift, then I was going to get my hair done. Afterwards my best friend was going to come over for our Christmas celebration and a Chinese food dinner and it was going to be a perfect day. Until I got a fateful text from Johnny at six in the morning that his boss had Covid. In an instant, my stomach dropped and my plans flew out the window before I even took a test. Somehow, I just knew and the faint pink positive line on my test confirmed it. I promptly said goodbye to my perfect day and Johnny and I hunkered down together in our covidness.

I believe this is our fourth round of Covid and, I have to say, this time around was a breeze. I felt excellent and would have had no idea we had Covid if we weren’t aware of the exposure. Johnny, on the other hand, felt a little crummy but it was more like how you feel when the weather shifts suddenly. This also made sense for him to feel that way as the weather in our neck of the woods took a drastic dip into low temps with snow. Alas, we were both positive and it positively sucked to have so much we were looking forward to cease to exist…. but did it really?

Lol, listen I was not thrilled whatsoever when my test was positive. However, looking on the bright side – I literally never take time off and my holiday break just came slightly early. I swear, every time I go for months on end without taking a day off, the world says hold my beer and gives me the flu or, in this case, Covid with no symptoms. Minus my big weekend being canceled, this was the best case scenario and I planned on enjoying it!

During my Covid stint I watched So. Much. TV! We’re talking Gypsy Rose Life After Lockup, the reunion of The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives, St. Denis Medical, and so much more. Not only did I have a healthy bingeathon but I also had fun playing Animal Crossing again after three years and one month lol. Once the cockroaches from my house were clear, I got back into the groove of island life and am eagerly awaiting the update in January. I forgot how much I liked playing Animal Crossing after being apart from it for so long. I guess I played my fill when the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic was happening!

It’s funny because I texted my blogging bestie to complain about my positive test and I said something along the lines of “I think people just forgot to test for Covid when they aren’t feeling well”. But the thing is, I forgot too. It has been a long time since Covid was headline news that it was easy to chalk it up to a thing of the past. It is still very real, though, so do be sure you get a few tests as the holiday season approaches. Then, everyone can gather safely together and have a blast celebrating. ❤

My Covid Chronicles read more like a really lazy handful of days off and, hey, I’ll take it. Stay healthy and stay safe, everyone!

What is your favorite lazy day activity? Have you been sick recently? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah

Food & Drink Holiday Gifts

Food & Drink Holiday Gifts

Howdy! The countdown to the holidays is SO on – are you ready for it? I know I am! Family, friends, and sweet sweet time off. What could be better? The answer is literally nothing! If you still have holiday shopping to get done, you’re in the right place. Today’s gift guide will feature ideas for a very popular gifting option: Food and drink. Everyone needs to nosh and sip on something delicious so you know your gift is going to be used and enjoyed. Let’s discuss:

Do you have a coffee or soda fiend in your life? You kind of do, because I am both lol. Countertop appliances like a single serve Keurig or a Soda Stream is sure to delight your giftee who always errs on the side of caffeinated. Johnny actually got me a single serve Keurig for Valentine’s Day a few years back and it was the best gift ever! These appliances don’t take up a ton of counter space and feel like such a treat with each use. If your giftee already has one, that’s okay. You can give them a stockpile of K-cups or soda mixes to keep the go go juice flowing.

DoorDash, restaurants, fast food, or grocery store gift cards are a no brainer if you are looking to make your holiday shopping quick and easy. Johnny and I usually get a DoorDash gift card from his parents and it is SO appreciated. To be able to hit up your favorite eatery with gift card in hand is awesome because it’s literally guilt free. How many times have you bypassed a craving because there’s food at home? Throw that preconceived notion of gift cards being thoughtless out the window. They are as thoughtful as it gets because it gives you the opportunity to treat yourself whenever you want!

Local bakeries often offer cookie decorating kits which is a total win/win. You are supporting local as well as giving a fun gift for a family to enjoy together. These kits usually come with the cookies pre-made and the supplies like frosting and sprinkles to decorate with. It’s a perfect activity for a snowy afternoon and kiddos will revel in creating their own sugary masterpieces. My little nieces LOVE cookie and cupcake decorating and would have a blast with a cookie kit. 😀

Seriously, who doesn’t love a gift basket? I am an avid fan of both receiving and gifting them! Of course you can buy pre-made baskets in store but you could also create them yourself. Hit up your local craft store and get your baskets, then head to the grocery store and get to work! You could fill the basket with something sweet like chocolate and candy or go the savory route with popcorn, peanuts, or pretzels. How about a basket that creates a meal like soup or pasta? Perhaps you could include a muffin tin, mixes, and jams to top them with. No matter what you choose, it’s going to be yummy!

If you have a passion for cooking, share it! One year for Valentine’s Day, Johnny hired our friend who works as a chef to make dinner for us. It was absolutely amazing and one of my favorite gifts ever! You can create menus specific to your giftee’s tastes, purchase the ingredients, and serve a fantastic meal. While it’s nice to go out to eat, there is nothing better than a home cooked meal. This is a bonus gift because it also gives your giftee the night off from cooking which is such a blessing lol.

I hope your giftee’s all brought their appetite with these ideas – can you say YUM?!

Do you like to cook? What is your favorite thing to make? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah

Lil Red’s Book Club: The Intruder By Freida McFadden Edition

Hello everyone and welcome to a brand new edition of Lil Red’s Book Club! In a spoiler free setting, as always, we are going to be discussing the most recent thriller by Freida McFadden called The Intruder. I have a love/hate relationship with Freida McFadden books. I love how quick and easy they are to read. I hate how perfectly average they always are and The Intruder very much held those sentiments. Before we begin, I will be placing a trigger warning on The Intruder for graphic violence, disturbing content, and child abuse. Now, let’s get to it:

Casey lives in a cabin in the woods in the middle of nowhere, New Hampshire. Since her beloved father’s passing, life has been on a downward spiral. Casey promptly lost her teaching job and decided to go off the grid to a ramshackle cabin she could barely afford. The cabin’s roof is falling apart, a huge tree in the yard is on the verge of falling, and oh yeah – there is a dangerous storm on the way. With no help from her landlord, Casey must face the storm on her own and pray that the cabin remains in one piece for the night.

As Casey prepares for the upcoming downpour, she notices movement outside of her cabin and even thinks she sees a face in the window. She chalks it up to paranoia until she sees light coming from the decrepit tool shed. Casey investigates herself thinking that someone might be injured or lost and finds a painfully skinny girl who is soaked in blood and clutching a knife. She promises the girl that she will not let anyone know that she is there as long as she stays in the cabin for the night where it is relatively safe.

After attempts at conversation that feel like pulling teeth, Casey learns that the girl is named Eleanor. The whole situation seems insane and Casey is fearful of her new guest. However, after she sees bruises and burn marks on Eleanor’s arm she knows that she can’t send her back to wherever she came from. Casey and her visitor share a meal and while Eleanor is in the bathroom, she takes it upon herself to snoop. In Eleanor’s blood soaked backpack is a notebook filled with horrific drawings. Scenes of torture upon a woman who looks like Casey as well as a hand drawn map leading to her home. Is Casey the intended target of Eleanor? Or is she just a pawn in a much bigger plan? Read The Intruder to find out!

I breezed through The Intruder in two sittings and after I was done, I simply said “oh”. It was the definition of a good but not great book. The funny thing about Freida McFadden’s books is that I like the plots of them. I think I just don’t care for McFadden’s writing style which I often feel verges on amateurish. The Intruder featured one of her most twisty plots out of her recent work and I actually didn’t see the biggest reveal of all coming. I love when that happens because I’m usually very good at working it out for myself. Regardless, The Intruder fell short for me.

One of my main qualms about The Intruder was the length of the book as it barely reached two hundred and seventy pages. Don’t get me wrong, I like a short and sweet book as much as the next. However, it just felt incomplete. I understand the fast pacing as Eleanor’s visit occurred during the span of one night. But the book flip flopped between past and present and I was hungry for more information on the past. These flashbacks were when The Intruder really shined with the grit of an excellent suspense novel. I just wish The Intruder maintained that momentum in the present day.

Overall, I am going to rate The Intruder with a five out of ten stars. If you like Freida McFadden, I’m sure you’ll read it. If not, you’re not missing out on anything!

What is your favorite Freida McFadden book? Do you have plans to see The Housemaid in theaters? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah

Thxgiving Pt. 2 OOTD

Thxgiving Pt. 2 OOTD

Hi!! The day after Thanksgiving, Johnny and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch at El Meson with his parents. I might have still been in a slight food coma but I never say no to Mexican food and El Meson is, hands down, the best restaurant in our neck of the woods. The meal was delicious, the company was delightful, and I loved piecing together this little something to wear. Also, so aware there aren’t many pics to check out. We were starving and freezing our nads off when we took these before leaving and it was definitely not my best work. Lol, hey it happens to the best of us!

Jacket: Vince Camuto, TJMaxx

Skinny Jeans: 1822 Denim, TJMaxx

Boots: Candie’s, Kohl’s

Earrings: Argentino Vivo, TJMaxx

The hat belonged to my grandma! ❤

I am not a fan of winter in the slightest and am a spring and fall girl through and through. However, I sure love dressing for winter! Jackets are one of my favorite fashion items and I have quite a collection of cold weather coats to choose from. It is exciting to break them out again and I couldn’t wait to wear my amazing blazer style jacket by Vince Camuto. It is one of my all time favorite TJMaxx purchases and I feel like a star in it. Those faux fur cuffs just scream luxury and I have a little Devil Wears Prada moment every time I slip it on. This jacket is a timeless staple with a twist and that is exactly what I like.

The base of this outfit was kept simple as I wanted the jacket and accessories to do all of the talking. And anyways, I had no intention of taking my jacket off. Did I mention it was freaking freezing?! Black skinny jeans and a form fitting navy sweater were the move and it was off to accessorize. This is always the best part of dressing for winter for me as I am a huge accessory girl and the cold months are my time to shine. As a heavily tattooed chick, accessories fly out the window when it’s hot out because they are my accessories. In the winter, I forget I have a majority of my ink because I’m all covered up!

For accessories, I delved into my hat collection and returned with a beautiful vintage cloche hat from my grandma. She had the most impeccable style and hats were her favorite. I am lucky enough to have several of her hats and it brings me so much joy to wear them. I think she would be so happy about it too! This hat is so timeless yet modern with that black feather and it was just right with my jacket for that freshened up old-timey feel.

In the shoe department I opted for a gorgeous pair of thigh high boots by Candie’s to strut my stuff in. These boots are eight years old but I just can’t part with them! I love their length, the heel, and how form fitting they are for a sleek and lean silhouette. Last but not least was jewelry and I chose a medium sized pair of hoops by Argentino Vivo in forest green. As red and green are complimentary colors, they looked especially striking against the vibrant red of the hat. With that, I was ready for food coma round two!

I love me a holiday where all that’s required is to dress up and eat. Is it bad that I’m already thinking about Christmas dinner… and next year’s Thanksgiving?! 😀

What is your favorite holiday? How do you celebrate it? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah
