Hi everyone and TGIF! This weekend, I will be doing a photo shoot with my fabulous friend, Britta, who I had the pleasure of working with a few months ago. As an exchange of services, I will be conducting an interview with her so she can tell my readers and her clients all about the rebranding of her business. It should be a lot of fun and I am so excited to sport some fall fashion because it is my absolute favorite.
BUT, I need your help! I am looking for recommendations on outfits that I should wear. To help a sister out, please feel free to browse my Facebook page and pictures and tell me what in my wardrobe I should wear for a fresh fall look. You can also peruse through the “Fashion” tab on my blog to see some of my latest purchases that might not be showcased in a Facebook picture just yet. So take a look and I can’t wait to hear what you guys come up with! Much love. -Sarah
Hi everyone and TGIF! I thought that today would be a great day to post the rest of my favorite pictures from my recent photo shoot with Britta Photography. Britta did such an amazing job photographing me which resulted in tons of pics that I’m totally obsessed with. Keep in mind that some, not all, of the pictures that Britta took are featured in part one and two of my Photo Shoot Album. But fear not! If you would like to see all of the pics from the photo shoot as well as additional pictures, statuses, and Twistfire ads I will be posting the link to my Facebook page below! Now, let’s take a look at part two of my Photo Shoot Album:
^^^ Ahh, I love it!
As aforementioned, if you would like to view the rest of my photo shoot, you can check out my Facebook page (pretty please follow me!). While you’re scanning my profile, please be sure to give lifewithlilred’s page some loving, too! And if you want to be really nice, you can click on my ads compliments of Twistfire Media and help me get paid! As always, if you’re interested in signing up for Twistfire you can email me at: email@example.com!
So there you have it, my Photo Shoot Album (Pt. 2)! Thanks again so much to Britta Photography for doing such an incredible job! What is everyone up to this weekend? Any big plans? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah
Hey everyone and happy weekend! It’s been a few weeks since my photo shoot with Britta Photography and I’m still obsessed with all of the shots that were taken of yours truly. And now that I know that there’s a handy slideshow tool on here for picture viewing, I figured why not put up the album in its entirety? I wish that I would have known this fun fact sooner! All in all there’s about fifty photos so I thought that I would divide up the pics and post the album in separate parts. Take a look at part one of my Photo Shoot Album and then let’s discuss a little further:
I love having these pics readily available on Facebook because one of my favorite things is when I catch a glimpse of them and am kind of shocked that it’s actually me in the shots. I would really like to get some prints made of at least some of them but it’s going to be so hard to pick which ones I want! It’s seriously impossible to pick a favorite because I adore all of them equally and differently. If any of you are interested in getting some prints of your favorite Lil Red pics, just let your girl know!
I hope all of you are having a wonderful start to your weekend and make sure you stay on the look out for part two of my Photo Shoot Album! What is your favorite subject to photograph? What is one of your favorite pics in my album? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah
Hey everyone and happy Hump Day! I had a photo shoot this past weekend, as you guys know from my previous two posts. I had such a blast being photographed by my darling friend, Britta, who has her own photography business, Britta Photography. Britta did such an amazing job and I’m so in love with all of the pictures that she took. So much so, that I had to stretch all of my favorite pics out into three posts. I’m here today to show you my Final Photo Shoot Favorites out of the many that Britta snapped of me. You can go on to Britta’s website or my personal Facebook page to see the entire album. If you do, be sure to give Britta’s page some love and send a friend request my way!
^^^ Obviously I’m such a fan of all of my cigarette pictures!
I want to thank my dear friend, Britta, so much again for the fantastic photos that she took of me. I am so in love with all of them and I can’t wait for you to shoot me again! And once again, if you would like to view the full album from my photo shoot you can check out Britta’s Facebook page or my personal page! What is your favorite photo that I featured on lifewithlilred? Do you prefer to be behind or in front of the camera? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Helloooo everyone and happy late Halloween from lifewithlilred! I hope all of you guys had a fun time celebrating! My Halloween was awesome because I did absolutely nothing. These past few weeks I’ve been so busy every day with something or another. From college classes to running my siblings around to meeting with clients to write for and coaching figure skating for the Special Olympics, I’ve barely had time to breathe! It felt so good to finally have a day to myself to binge watch the Botched marathon on E! and lay in my jammies all day with no makeup and a big ol’ bowl of ice cream. Life was good yesterday, that’s for sure!
Despite my laid back Saturday, I had a busy friend-filled Friday which made up for it. I met up with my friend and client, Britta Michele, for breakfast (You can check her work out on my article “Daffodil Blue Photography”), I had some best friend time with Lea in the afternoon and then to top it off my boyfriend, Kyle, swooped me up for a Hallows Eve evening together! It was a typical but fantastic night of watching Dexter, playing The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, and drinking my girly wine while Kyle drinks his nasty IPA beer.
Although I didn’t get to turn up this Halloween, my sister, Kristen, did enough of that for the both of us! Kristen traveled to New York via mega bus to celebrate Halloween with some of her friends and she looked so fabulous I just have to share a picture:
^^^ Wa wa woo we wa and hubba hubba! My sister is smokin!
Whether you got white girl wasted or stayed home watching shitty reality TV all day, I hope you had a great Halloween doing whatever it is that you do! What did you dress up as? What was the craziest costume that you saw? I wanna hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah
Hellooo everyone and happy Tuesday! Mama has a lot of homework to do today so I decided to go with a short and sweet post so I can get back to work. There isn’t much to this little blip in the whole world wide web except for me asking you guys to give some love to my Facebook page and the pages of some of the talented people that I’ve had the pleasure of writing for! Please do it…PLEASE?!
^^^ Give a like to one or give a like to them all and I’ll like you forever! 😉
^^^ DO YOU NEED ME? DO YOU THINK I’M PRETTAY?!
I also am pleased to announce some of the other articles that will be posted on lifewithlilred within the end of October and the beginning of November:
- Nelson Morris: For The Sake Of Art
- An interview with the talented John Patrick Halling of Kent, Ohio
- An inspiring campaign for Trades Of Hope ran by one of my dear friends
I hope all of you are having a fabulous day and as always keep it posted on lifewithlilred for all of the latest and greatest! How is everyone’s week going so far? Anything awful or exciting? I wanna hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah
Hi everyone and happy Thursday! I was going to save this friendly reminder post until Saturday but I have quite a bit to do today so I figured I’d keep my daily post short and sweet. What am I so busy with? Well I’m glad you asked! I have the pleasure of penning a new article for an incredibly talented artist fresh out of Ohio, Nelson Morris. His work on the “1000 Faces Project” will be on display at the Cleveland Ingenuity Festival this weekend as well as at the Waterloo Sculpture Garden. Yesterday I got to sit down over coffee with Nelson and chat away about his creative endeavors. I’d like to get a rough draft of the article done today while everything is fresh in my noggin so I don’t completely jack up describing all of the technicalities that Nelson told me about. This guy is the real deal so you’re all in for a real treat once the interview is published!
I’m not going to post Nelson’s contact info just yet but I do encourage you to show some love to the Facebook pages of yours truly, Recipe of Life, Millstone, and Daffodil Blue Photography! Please, please, please? 🙂
I don’t ask for much on the ol’ blog but I really would appreciate it if you guys took the time to give a quick “like” to any and all of these pages. Supporting local artists who use their talents to not only express themselves but relate to others is so important and I wouldn’t be doing my job properly if I didn’t showcase all of their amazing work on lifewithlilred. Thanks again!!
Alright everyone, it’s almost the weekend so hang tight for just a few more days! Does anyone have any big plans coming up? Who is one of your favorite local artists in your neck of the woods? I wanna hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah
Howdy everyone and happy Monday! So as you may have noticed, I had an unannounced MIA hiatus this weekend that was purely unintentional. This Monday Update will shed some light on where Lil Red was hiding out at and inform you about all of the other exciting news that I have to share! Enjoy some tunes to hype you up this morning and then let’s discuss:
Last Friday rolled around and things were going just PEACHY. I was working on some homework, sippin on that Arizona green tea, and living my life like the baller I am. And then…something went wrong. I tried to print an assignment with the household wireless printer and unfortunately it didn’t work. I pressed the “print” button at least seventy-three more times only to find that my button clicking effort was made in vain. So I did what any normal twenty-one year old would do…I called my mom for help. #MOMMMMMMMM
Mother dearest entered the dining room on a “fix the printer” mission and that was when things took a turn for the worse. Good ol’ mom began to utilize the classic technique of pressing buttons and unplugging and replugging cords back into the sockets. With all of the powering off and on and pressing every button that looked helpful, the internet ended up shutting down entirely. Don’t ask me how, because I don’t know. And quite frankly, it probably wasn’t even my mom’s fault but everyone at home is enjoying telling her that she broke the internet so we’re just gonna go with it! 😉
Thanks to my mother breaking the internet, I was without the world wide web for the weekend. This prevented me from doing homework, answering to possible clients to write for on Facebook, and most importantly keeping in touch with all of you! But thanks to a handy helper from our chosen internet company, things are back in business at the Lil Red residence. So no, I didn’t make a spur of the moment road trip to Utah or have an unfortunate twenty-four hour flu that left me bedridden…I was just MIA because my internet was down. OH THE CALAMITY! #firstworldproblems
In other news:
- Yesterday was my one month anniversary with my boyfriend, Kyle, so that’s nice! One month went by really quickly and things are going just swimmingly – so keep your fingers crossed for a bitch that they stay that way!
- Everything at school is also going really well, too! My classes are swell, my grades are rockin, and I have no complaints!
- I have a lot of really cool potential clients that might be featured on lifewithlilred, so keep your eyes peeled for more info on that!
- Oh, and like my Facebook page, THANKS! https://www.facebook.com/lifewithlilred?fref=ts
- And this one, too! THANKS AGAIN! https://www.facebook.com/britsphotographs?fref=ts
^^^ Basically my face all weekend. #shameful
So there you have it, this week’s Monday Update: Unintentional MIA Edition! I hope all of you had a great weekend and an even better start to your week! What was the craziest thing that happened to you this weekend? Who has a case of the Mondays today? I wanna hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah
