Hey everyone and TGIF! This week my spring semester at Tri-C finished up and I could not be happier. This semester seemed to drag on like no other, especially considering I only really enjoyed one of the classes I was taking. Despite disliking some of my courses, I still ended the semester with straight A’s for days so that was cool! Now that all of my classes are over and done with, I get a little break until the end of May when my summer classes and internship begin.
This summer I’ll be taking a course on Shakespeare, cultural anthropology, and the psychology of personality on top of my internship on campus. In fact, I just logged on to my student page a few minutes ago and saw that I have an official employee email account now so that made me feel…official. 😉 I’m excited that I’ll get to have some time off before my busy summer but I’m so amped to start my new classes and campus job that I just want it to get here now!
My time off will be well spent, though. During my little vaca, I plan on finishing all of my home interviews for a research project my job with NCI (National Core Indicators) is working on. After ten or so more interviews, I’ll be done until we start up our research again this winter. I also have lots of plans to catch up with some old friends as well as perfecting everything for my birthday party at the end of the month! Then it will be off to North Carolina for some much deserved R&R for the family. Can’t wait!
I’m pleased as punch to be All Done with my spring semester – especially with the good grades to show for it! Where are all of my college kids at? How did you fare this semester? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah
Hey everyone and happy Tuesday! This is your friendly reminder post to show your favorite redhead some Facebook lovin! I have reached the 5,000 friend mark on the ol’ FB but that doesn’t mean you can’t give your girl a follow! A follow is pretty much like being friends with me without really being friends with me. You’ll still get to see all of my status updates and pictures on your newsfeed without having me on your friends list. I personally think that this is still a win/win for everyone!
You can reach out to me on my personal Facebook page and a like on my page for lifewithlilred wouldn’t hurt either! And as always, please help me get paid by clicking the ads from Twistfire Media on my personal Facebook! I have lots of fun articles, quizzes, and facts posted so check them out, have a laugh, and help me put some moolah in my bank! Once again, it’s a win/win! If you are interested in posting for Twistfire on your Facebook, Twitter, or Pinterest please feel free to email me at: sarah.mush6794@gmail.com!

ALSO: I GOT A SUMMER INTERNSHIP!! On Monday, Tri-C called me and offered me three summer internships with different departments. Unfortunately, I could only pick one so I went with a position as the intern in the Learning Commons! I’m so happy I could scream!
I know this post was kind of a hodge podge of a bunch of different stuff but all of the points raised above were short enough that I grouped it together! I hope everyone is having a fantastic week so far! Much love. -Sarah
Heyyy everyone and happy Thursday! Great news! I finally reached the 5,000 friend mark on Facebook which I’m really excited about! BUT I could still use your help. It’s true that I can’t accept any more friend requests but I can still be followed (creepy). If you follow me on Facebook, you get all of the benefits of being my friend on there without technically being my friend. It’s still a win/win in my book! So be a pal and follow me and/or give my page for lifewithlilred a like! Doing both is preferable 😉 :
While you’re checking out my pages, you may notice some of the different ads and articles that I have posted. Those are all compliments of Twistfire Media and guess what? And as always, if you’re interested in signing up for Twistfire, you can shoot me an email at sarah.mush6794@gmail.com!

ONE MORE THING:
I know that I have some Seinfeld fans on here so I need your help! My film professor and I both share an undying love for the greatest sitcom ever created and he emailed me today with a survey that he made. The survey asks you to pick which one of Jerry’s girlfriends is your favorite and it literally takes ten seconds. To take the survey, click here! My favorite is Jane from “The Stall”. I don’t have a square to spare. I can’t spare a square…
Thank you guys all so much from the bottom of my little black heart for all of your help and support! It does not go unrecognized and it means so much to me!! Who did you pick as your favorite girlfriend in the survey? How many Facebook friends do you have? I wanna hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah

Hi everyone and happy Tuesday! I was blown away by recently hitting my 2,000 followers mark here on lifewithlilred. Since I’ve had my page up and running for over a year now, I thought it would be fun to do a stats post and see just how much things have progressed on my little old blog. Let’s take a look:
My Stats:
Followers: 2,105
Categories: 32
Tags: 2,335
Countries: 150
Views: 43,679
*** Note that I am prewriting this so these stats are slightly off!
If you would have told me when I first started blogging that after over a year I would have posted 562 times, I would have said that you’re crazy! But now, I feel strange if I don’t get to write at least a quick post every day! Once a week I take twenty or so minutes to plan out my posts for the week as well as ideas for days to come. I love coming up with new and exciting articles to write and it’s always so fun to me to see how you guys react to them.
I always find so much joy in looking at my stats and seeing how all of my hard work paid off. If you haven’t already, I can’t recommend making a post like this enough – or at least going through your accumulated stats to see how you’re doing. It felt awesome to look through these numbers and see how much they’ve grown since my very first blog post! For once, it was a trip down memory lane that was enjoyable to take!
So there you have it, Lifewithlilred By The Numbers! A short and sweet post that took ten minutes to write and that brought a smile to my face. So worth it. How long have you been blogging for? How many posts have you wrote? I wanna hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah
Hello everyone and happy Thursday! On Tuesday I made it to Over 2,000 Followers here on lifewithlilred and I’m just pleased as punch. I appreciate all of my followers and readers so very much so it was so exciting to finally be over the 2,000 mark. It’s also really cool to know that I have readers in over 150 different countries! I have a world map in my room with push pins in every country that I have readers in and it’s so rewarding to continue to add on to it. There are a few other landmark numbers that I need your help to reach so please check out the links that I’m providing below:
I would really like to get to the 5,000 friend mark on my personal Facebook page so please shoot me a friend request! I also ask that you send me a message letting me know that you read my blog so that I don’t delete you on accident!
Help me start out strong on my journey to 3,000 followers by giving lifewithlilred a follow. 🙂
And as always, if you’re interested in signing up for the media company Twistfire Media (whose ads you can see on my personal Facebook page) then please email me at sarah.mush6794@gmail.com.

Heyy everyone and TGIF! Have any of you ever gone through your social media pages and have just felt insanely jealous of people? This happens to Lil Red on occasion and it really grinds my gears. It’s one of those things where you see everyone and their brother on your friends list being happier, better, prettier, etc than you and it can really get a gal down. So what brings on these feelings? What can you do to remedy them? Take a listen to an ironic choice in music and then let’s discuss:
^^^ I had to!
This past week I saw that a girl who I went to high school with was studying abroad in France and Italy and it made me SO insanely jealous. That’s one thing that I would love to do and that I have mentioned frequently on the ol’ blog and to basically anyone who will listen. A thing about me is that when I want things, I want them ASAP. So to see someone who is my age essentially living my dream kind of killed me. It can be hard to see people doing something that you want so desperately while you’re sitting in Akron, Ohio being miserable. -__-
As soon as I became green with envy over this, I began to evaluate my life and what I was doing wrong. I was turning the pages in my mind of everything that I could be doing and that just made me feel even worse. I then made a mental list of everything that I do and all of the responsibilities I have and it felt like a slap in the face. I was doing what felt like a lot but I still couldn’t have this one thing that I really want.
My mental list ended up looking something like this:
Attending school full time at Tri-C.
Coaching figure skating for the Special Olympics.
Transporting both of my siblings who can’t drive multiple times per week.
Working as a freelance writer for different companies, artists, and musicians.
Doing consultations for individuals who would like to start their own blog.
Working for two different media companies on my social media pages.
Working for the Ohio Board of Developmental Disabilities to make sure that everyone is receiving the best care possible.
With all of these things stacking up in my day, I barely have time to breathe but it still didn’t seem good enough. But then I started to think about how I work my ass off every day and am doing so much to improve the lives of others. I reminded myself that it will be my turn to travel soon enough and that it would be all the more sweeter when it finally does happen. Then the mental list began to shift and it looked more like this:
Mental list take two:
I work hard at school and have gotten all A’s since I began college last year.
I bring joy into the lives of my skaters and their families.
I help improve the quality of life for others.
I get both of my siblings to where they need to be when they need it.
My freelance work has been really taking off and I have the articles, followers, and media companies that I work through to prove it.
Yes, it does suck when you want something that you simply can’t have. It also sucks even more when you see someone with what you desire so much. However, all I can do is keep on going because I am making great strides on my own even if I don’t feel that way sometimes. It can be hard to remember that at times but when I do it definitely helps easy my jealousy!
In the words of Nick Jonas, “I Still Get Jealous”, but that won’t stop me from continuing to keep on trucking and working hard! What is something that makes you jealous? What do you do to help with those feelings? I wanna hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah
