Graduation Day!

Hi everyone and happy Thursday! Today is my big day! At six o’clock this evening, I will be walking across the stage at Cleveland State University to receive my Associate of Arts degree from Cuyahoga Community College. I AM SO EXCITED!! For exactly two years, I have worked my little ass off to obtain my degree and I am so proud of myself for finally achieving it with a killer grade point average to boot!

I have taken many wonderful classes and I have taken some that were complete shit. I have had some amazing professors but I’ve also had a few that have sucked on ice. However, I would not change my college experience for a thing. I did things my way, accomplished my degree on my time, and gained a plethora of new knowledge and skills that I never dreamed of having before.

Upon completion of school, I plan on dedicating my time from January to June completing my work for my job with the National Core Indicators. Then, I will begin looking for work in a group home or day program setting. I will then look forward to traveling around Summit County in Ohio to continue my work distributing the Adult Consumer Survey for those with mental and physical disabilities for the year 2017.

I have big plans for work but I also want to travel. I want to make time for me, myself, and I – and my family, friends, and boyfriend of course! After a year or so, I plan on going back to Tri-C to obtain my Associate of Science so that I can have a double associates degree. I am so excited and proud about how bright my future looks and I look forward to sharing all of the details with you guys every step of the way!

Hurray for my Graduation Day! Pictures will be up at some point this weekend of me looking snazzy in my cap and gown so please be on the look out! Until then, what was the mascot or nickname for your college or high school? How did you answer the question “what do you want to be when you grow up”? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah

Everything You Need For The Ultimate Cozy Corner

Everything You Need For The Ultimate Cozy Corner

The winter season is definitely here now. While the cold weather feels awesome and exciting leading up to Christmas, as soon as the holiday season finishes things can be a little depressing. I think we all need a cozy little corner to hibernate in through the grim months of January and February – and I think I have found the right ingredients for the perfect set up. Read on to find out everything you need for the perfect cozy corner – and snuggle up until the spring!

The Right Location: Technically, you can have a cozy den in any corner of your home or room – but not everywhere is 100% suitable. If you are lucky, the bedroom is the perfect spot. It’s private, quiet, and away from the ruckus and noise of the main living spaces. However, maybe there is a quiet room you could use instead? Or somewhere with a beautiful wood burner or open fire to give you the perfect atmosphere? A cracking fire can give you amazing light, a relaxing, chilled environment and they smell – and sound – great.

A Giant Bean Bag: There are some awesome giant bean bags out there right now – see this from Comfy Sacks for the perfect example. These comfy cool chairs are so fun and are literally high school me’s dream come true. They are the ultimate in Sunday lounging and perfect for settling in with a good book, movie, or to curl up and listen to music.

Lots and Lots of Blankets: It’s impossible to be cozy without blankets, right? So grab as many as you can and top it all off with a soft cotton or wool throw. It will keep the chills out, the heat in, and make you feel like you never want to get up again. If it’s extra cold, throw in a heating pad for good measure!

Toasty Toes: You can have all of the blankets in the world but somehow your feet still manage to be cold! Plush throw rugs and fuzzy socks are an absolute must so you can be warm all over – no frigid feet required. However, if you want to go for an option to keep warm and boost your property value, you can’t go wrong with underfloor heating. It will be your new best friend on those chilly mornings and winter days. If this is an upgrade you’re interested in, simply enter a search for “underfloor heating ireland” (or your local area) to find a well reviewed specialist for installation. Warning: When they’re done you might not want to leave your cozy corner!

Books and Magazines: When you are hunkering down for a cozy session, you will need plenty of material to keep you going. Grab a pile of books – when the weather is harsh and cold, there is nothing better than getting lost in a different (maybe even sunny) world. Magazines are great, too – you can browse through them at your leisure, and if you are feeling sleepy, you can doze off whenever you like.

cozy1.png

DOG!!!!

A Tablet: While we’re on the subject of entertainment, we can discuss the tablet – which feels like it was totally invented for the cozy corner. You can snuggle in, throw on a pair of headphones, and be transported to any era, any place, and with any of your favorite actors whenever you like. I love to go for something a little spooky, thanks to the Kindle that my boyfriend got me for our anniversary!

Candles: Candles are essential for all things cozy, so don’t miss out on grabbing a bunch of your favorites. For extra comfort, find some scented candles and let the aroma take you away to somewhere from tropical to a cute little coffee shop depending on the scent!

Snacks and Drinks: OBVIOUSLY!! Once you are in the zone, you won’t want to leave. However, let’s be realistic – you don’t want to be hungry, either. So, before you start your cozy corner session, stock up on a few snacks – healthy or otherwise – and plenty of drinks to keep thirst at bay.

What are your cozy corner must haves? What is your favorite drink to sip on when the weather is cold? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah

Time To Love Being A Student And Stop Fearing The Financial Consequences

Time To Love Being A Student And Stop Fearing The Financial Consequences

Getting into college can be your opportunity to really excel in life and start focusing on the path you wish to travel on in your adult life. But for almost everyone that gets in, there’s a specter that looms large over what can be a fantastic and transforming experience. We’re talking about the money that you’re going to have to spend to get that education. Student debt is the biggest it has ever been, so you really want to start making the decisions of how you’re going to handle it as quickly as you can.

Get Side Hustling: Not everyone has the opportunity to get a job to finance their way through college. Or even if you do, you might want to make sure you have a little extra. Nowadays, the market for freelance work is bigger than ever. Particularly online, there are a few technical skills that can make it significantly easier to make a little money on the side. With good writing skills, you could get into creating a monetized blog with marketing partners. There are international businesses of all kinds that can use the translation and localization skills of someone proficient in more than one language. There are opportunities for people who want to get into becoming a virtual assistant, too. Even if you can’t spend a long time away from campus, you can still find ways to make a little extra money.

Take Whatever Advantage You Can Get: One of the biggest ongoing expenses of a college student is the cost of tuition. It can end up costing you as much as $24,000 if you’re out of state. It accounts, on average, for 39% of the in-state student’s budget. Attending a no-tuition college is an option. But there are other opportunities that can help a few specific groups of people. College tuition discounts are available, for instance, to students from low-income families, to students with Native status, or students who have faced hardships like natural disasters. Other schools offer work-subsidized programs if you become an employee of one of the school’s departments.

Get a Head Start on Those Loans: Most of us are going to be coming out of college with some pretty hefty loans. If you’re able to, you want to try and pay them off as soon as possible. Otherwise, they’ll be a constant weight keeping you from financial freedom. Use lump sum payments that you get and create a budget, allocating 15% or more of your income towards paying off the loans. Doubling your monthly payments, meaning you have to really tighten those purse strings after college, could be the difference between paying for ten years and paying for three years. If you want to make sure that you’re not spending beyond your ability to pay the loans, then consider creating an automatic payment to your fund.

Don’t let money worries hang over your college experience. Meet new people, have new experiences and learn to your heart’s content. With a bit of planning, you can start making money a lot more manageable before you even set foot on campus.

TJMaxx Graduation Shopping Spree

TJMaxx Graduation Shopping Spree

Hi everyone and happy Hump Day! This is my college graduation week, so last Friday I decided to go on an online TJMaxx Shopping Spree to celebrate. Like a woman possessed, I rampaged the website just as I would do in store and wound up with a new coat, two pairs of shoes, and a face wash from my new favorite beauty brand. I am seriously in love with everything and seriously impressed with the shipping compliments of TJs. Take a look at my haul and let’s discuss:

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

The Haul:

  • L.A.M.B. metallic booties
  • YOKI denim booties
  • June & Hudson jacket
  • Destiny Boutique face wash

L.A.M.B. Booties: Okay, so usually I am so not one to go gaga over designers but I seriously love Gwen Stefani’s line. Honestly, I just love all things Gwen Stefani period. Her style and confidence inspires me so I was so happy to finally be able to find something from her line at a price that I could actually afford (As opposed to my usual lusting over her brand from afar).

These shoes are so beautiful to me. I have been looking for metallic shoes for a while and these go above and beyond what I was imagining. Not to mention that these babies utilize my favorite pattern – snakeskin! I can’t wait to wear these year round with EVERYTHING. Dresses, skirts, shorts, BLACK SKINNY JEANS…because they are all I wear, you know.

**And did you guys notice the black, draw string bag in the picture? That came FO FREE in the shoe box! Score!!

YOKI Booties: THESE BOOTIES ARE SO CUTE!! As soon as I saw these, they went straight in my shopping cart. These funky little things look like something off of ModCloth and I got them for a mere fraction of the price – twenty-five dollars – which I thought was such a steal. These shoes are just pure fun. I love the patchwork, I love the style of the shoe, and for once I love the color of denim! I own nothing like these or the pair above, for that matter, and I am just so #blessed to be able to open my wardrobe up to them. :*)

June & Hudson Coat: Oh, come on. This thing is fun. I scored this fuzzy little number for a whole twenty dollars and you’re not going to not by a jacket at that price! Lately, I have been obsessed with all things fur and fuzz so this jacket seemed like a perfect addition to my collection. I think that this coat is ridiculous and glam and in your face. I cannot wait to wear it with a bright red lip, slicked back hair, and black lace up heels. Hello, perfect night out outfit.

Destiny Boutique Cleanser: I am currently using my charcoal beauty bar by Destiny Boutique and it is literally the best thing that has happened to my skin care routine in years. So, obviously, when I saw that TJMaxx had the liquid cleanser by my new favorite brand in stock, I had to snag it. It will take me a while to get to using it because I have a few face washes next in line but I am so looking forward to when I can break it out!

I have never purchased anything from TJMaxx’s website before and I gotta tell you guys – I was so impressed with their shipping. The box was filled with bubble wrap and you could really tell that everything was handled with care. My jacket came hung in a clear, plastic bag which I thought was a nice touch. Aside from a few bumps and bruises, the shoe boxes looked fresh and crisp.

And, most importantly, the handling of my cleanser was superb. The face wash was packed in an individual zip lock bag and there was tape around the bottle to prevent it from opening on accident. I have purchased a lot of skin care online in my day and I have never seen any company do that before with their shipping. I thought that it was amazing and I really appreciated the fact that the people handling shipping seemed to care about the products arriving to you in excellent condition. A++!!

My first online shopping experience with TJMaxx was phenomenal and I would obviously do it again in a heartbeat. However, nothing beats my in store TJs trips with my mom! But, it is reassuring to know that the store boasts an awesome website for when my mom and I might not be able to make it to the store or if we end a shopping trip empty handed…or for when I need a dose of something pretty or a splurging sesh ASAP! 🙂

My TJMaxx Graduation Shopping Spree was pure perfection and I was so happy to be able to treat myself for such an exciting occasion! What is your favorite site for online shopping? What store has the best holiday sales right now? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah

The Guests Are Coming: Last Minute Christmas Preparations

The Guests Are Coming: Last Minute Christmas Preparations

There’s a point in December when you suddenly realize that you’re running out of time. Only a week ago you were telling your friends, rather smugly, that you’ve finished your Christmas shopping and are well ahead of the game. But you still have the food shopping to do, the Christmas Day meal to prepare, and your guests are due to arrive. It’s all a bit stressful. Take a deep breath and follow these last minute preparations:

Make A List: Make a list of everything you have to do between now and Christmas. Work out what can be delegated and get other family members involved. You can’t do everything yourself, and you shouldn’t have to. Are there any tasks that could, at a pinch, be completed after your guests arrive? For example, last minute wrapping, etc.? If so, move these items to the bottom of the list and start with the more pressing issues.

Comfort: Is everything in place to ensure everyone’s comfort during the holiday? Is the house warm enough? Do you need to bleed the radiators? Do you have adequate seating? If not, consider investing in some giant bean bags. Check the dimensions of the room and find the perfect sized bean bag for you. Find it at Fombag or other retailers. Also, ensure that you have adequate dining room chairs.

Food: You should also get the big food shop out of the way before your guests arrive. You don’t want to leave them to their own devices and then head off to the shops. Try to find a quiet time to do this and avoid the crowds. Late at night or early morning often works well.

Have you catered to all tastes and dietary requirements? If you’re entertaining new guests such as new girlfriends, husbands, etc., check whether they have any specific dietary requirements. You don’t want to find out that your mother’s new partner is vegetarian just as you’re serving the turkey.

 So cute!

Guest Bedroom: Is your spare room ready to receive your guests? Temporarily relocate any large storage items such as furniture, boxes, and exercise equipment. Dust and vacuum thoroughly. Strip the bed and make it with fresh linen. Clear a space in the closet for hanging clothes and storing shoes, etc. A carefully placed string of fairy lights will provide some festive cheer. Leave some spare towels for your guests and ensure that the bathroom is adequately stocked (and clean!).

xmas10.jpg

 Love the lights!

A Warm Welcome: Provide a warm welcome to your visitors by paying attention to the front of the house and entrance. Clear any leaves and debris from the yard and wash the front door and windows. A Christmas wreath and string lights will add a little Christmas cheer. Ensure the hallway is also welcoming. Remove any clutter and make it as easy as possible for guests to enter with suitcases and boxes of gifts. Add garlands to banisters and decorate the walls.

xmas11.jpg

Love these little guys!

All’s that’s left is to put the kettle on or mull some wine. Then you can sit back and enjoy the Christmas tree lights and wait for the doorbell to ring. AND THEN OPEN PRESENTS!!!!!!

The 100 Years Challenge: Decorate Once, Make It Last Forever

Standard

Have you ever wished that you could just decorate once and be done with it? We can all agree that it would be better not to have to return to a room again in five years’ time, just because it’s become dated. Of course, this is something that those who jumped on the “must have the latest trend” bandwagon know all too well! If you don’t want to have to decorate again in a few years’ time, how should you approach the task of decorating today? Check this out:

Be A Minimalist: Minimalism has been around for a long time and it looks as if it is here to stay. Why? Because the less stuff you have in your rooms to date them, the less dated they will appear. It’s also a good policy just for keeping things simple and making it easy to give a good cleaning to. Make sure the furniture in the room is of a suitable size and laid out in a way that makes it look proportional to the space. Go for neutral colors that really compliment each other as seen in the picture below.

deco.png

 So chic!

Bring In Functional Furniture: Some people can’t help but opt for the latest fashion trend when it comes to furniture. But, they soon find out that designer furniture isn’t the most functional or the most practical. That’s a problem, because unless you’re trying to get your living room to appear on the front page of Vogue, you’re going to want to change your living room into a place that is more pleasant to live in. Nothing is worse than having a glass coffee table that is always just about to get smashed or a chic angular chair that looks amazing but gives you back ache.

 Wikipedia Image

Always Choose Quality Over Quantity: If you’ve ever watched one of those TV programs where they transform a person’s house overnight, you’ll have noticed something: they cut corners. Not only does the end product look tacky, but you rarely see the TV designers splash out on stuff that will last. They are always choosing things like bean bags, cushions, and cheap plywood bookcases to finish a room, rather than high-quality furniture and construction materials. Companies like Direct Furniture Land sell oak furniture that will last a lifetime. Other businesses make things like granite kitchen counter tops and tiled floors that won’t wear out, either.

Make Natural Light Your Friend: Mood lighting is all the rage right now, thanks to LEDs that can change color on the fly. But, like all fun new trends, it’s not going to be suitable for the long term. The advice from designers right now for if you’re going for a timeless look is to use natural light – the oldest of all light sources – to light up your rooms. If you don’t have access to sunlight for whatever reason, there are now plenty of lighting products on the market right now that actually do a rather good job of imitating it. High-quality natural lighting options give your rooms that same amazing glow without having to live in a glass house to achieve it!

Is Your Home Boring? Then Check Out This Guide!

Standard

No one wants a boring and dull home. Even the most laid back and relaxing home doesn’t need to be boring. It is actually pretty easy to spruce up your place once you put your mind to it. It doesn’t even have to be a lot of work. Just read this guide below to see how you can make your home a lot more visually interesting.

Color: The number one home refresher that can break up the visual boredom is to inject some color. People get so scared of color, but they don’t have to be, as they are in control of it. You can have as little color or as much as you like. You get to pick the shade, and how intense it is, so there is nothing to get anxious about.

If you aren’t used to having a lot of bright colors about the place, then go for something more subtle to start off. The use of pastel or ice cream colors can create interest and drama without going too over the top. But, if you are looking for some serious impact, then go for something super bright. Paint a feature wall to inject some drama into an otherwise boring room. Or you can even get super creative and leave the walls white and paint the furniture brights colors instead!

Pattern: Patterns are something else that people can get a little afraid of when decorating their home. But used properly they can help create a dynamic room that isn’t boring at all. 1970’s style patterns in one or two colors are a great (and fun!) way of injecting a retro vibe that isn’t too overwhelming into a room. Or you can inject a pattern into your accessories which can work wonders against any surface that is one solid color. For example use, bright paisley patterned pillows on a block color sofa. This will break up the single color and draw your eye to specific points, which can prove to be very visually appealing.

home5.jpg

 Pixabay Pattern!

home6

So cute!

Decoration: Another way of preventing your home decor from slipping into boredom territory is to get creative with the decorations you use. There are so many fun and simple ways to spruce up the home, even if its just taking your white or cream walls and decorating them with modern art or reproductions of the old classics. This will provide a perfect point of interest. If you’re going for a really dramatic look, use multiple pieces that are of a similar style in one space.

Interactivity: Another great way of getting your house to pop is to make use of all of the technology that is out there now. There are plenty of operator controlled items that you can interact with that can make an impact on your home’s visual appearance. For example, how about getting a mood light bulb? The color of which can be changed depending on what you are using the room for at that time. So you could have blue or purple for relaxing or a warmer orange or red when you want a cozy feel.

While revamping your home, use patterns, accessories, and decor that is uniquely you. Home decorating is just another amazing way to show off your personality!

Become A Healthier Mom To Your Kids By Doing The Following 3 Things

Standard

It’s so important for moms to follow good health habits because once you have a child, you are a role model to them. So everything you do, they will keep a note of. And unless you want your kids to fall into bad habits, you need to cut yours now. And being healthier is essential so that you can be around your child for longer. Here are three things you should do to become a healthier mom to your kids:

Follow a Healthy Diet: When you are busy looking after children, it’s easy to end up eating a poor diet. It could be a struggle to find a chance to make a healthy dinner for your family so you might opt for unhealthy meals which are full of fat. But if you are constantly eating bad food, you might end up putting on weight. And being overweight could cause you to have heart problems in the future. Also, if you are cooking unhealthy meals, you could end up putting your kids’ health at risk, too. It’s essential to follow a healthy diet to ensure you stay a yummy mummy. Have plenty of water a day and consume lots of fruit and vegetables. If you need help regarding your diet, there are plenty of books available online regarding healthy eating. Or your doctor can point you towards a good nutritionist who can advise you on meals.

 Yummm

Give Up Smoking: It’s a brave and great thing to give up smoking since doing it around the kids is never good. Second-hand smoke has the great potential to harm their lungs. And by smoking, you could end up with a higher risk of lung cancer and heart disease. Unfortunately for a lot of people, the path is never easy to a smoke-free life. Make sure you find some way that you can come off slowly to ensure it’s something you maintain. You might want to opt for nicotine patches or vapor using e liquid to help you cut out the bad habit. And remember to work out why you are smoking. It might mean that you need to cut some stress out of your life to ensure that you don’t pick up the habit again.

Exercise Daily: Of course, it can be a challenge to fit in exercise in your everyday life. With childcare being the number one priority, exercise is probably at the bottom of your list. But if you want to stay healthy, it’s a must that you work in some working out. Try and find a work out that you can include your child in, like a walk to the park or swimming at the pool. You can also read our previous blog for other ways to fit exercise into your life.

And remember to try and cut stress out of your life if you want to be a healthy mommy!

Things You Need To Ask Yourself Before Taking Out A Short-Term Loan

Standard

Taking out a short-term loan can be an appropriate solution for some people, but it doesn’t suit every situation out there. If you’re trying to decide whether this is a good idea for you, ask yourself these questions before taking out a short-term loan:

Is This Really An Emergency? Short-term loans are usually most suitable for those who have an emergency on their hands. If this isn’t exactly an emergency, you should probably think twice before taking out one of these loans. It could end up more trouble than it’s worth. If you have a broken appliance that you need to replace ASAP, for instance, then this could constitute as an emergency. However, needing an outfit for a party is not an emergency. Be honest with yourself about whether you truly need this loan.

There are some repairs that should not be put on the back burner regardless of if you need to take out a short-term loan or not. These include plumbing, structural, and electrical to name a few. Letting these problems get worse will only make the repair more expensive. If this is an option you need to look into, simply enter a search for “Short term loans UK” (or your local area). Every lending business you research is going to be a little bit different so be sure to read carefully, pay attention to reviews, and call with any question you might have.

How Much Interest Will I Pay? Make sure you’re well aware of how much interest you’re going to be paying before agreeing on the loan. This will depend on how long you want the loan for, how much you’ve taken out, and other factors. The amount of interest you pay can also be dependent on your credit score. The lower it is, the more interest you’ll pay in general. You can try using a calculator online to get a good idea of what you’ll be paying back.

loan.jpg

Is There A Cheaper Option? Short term loans aren’t always your only option if you do actually have an emergency. You may want to compare the features of your various options. For example, you could use a credit card, try payday loans with installment, or even use your overdraft. There may be other options for you, too, so it’s crucial that you explore them as best as you can and work out what the best choice for you is.

Is There Any Chance I Won’t Be Able To Repay The Loan? Now, you absolutely need to be sure you can pay back the loan in the agreed time before you take it out. If you don’t, your interest rates might be sky high. You might even get a fine along with people calling you up chasing you for the money. This isn’t ideal and can actually be really stressful. This is why it’s so important that you’re honest with yourself about what you can afford to take out and pay back. Take a look at you calendar to make sure you don’t have anything else you need to pay for that could affect how you pay back the loan.

Even if you’re sure you’ll be able to pay back the loan, it’s worth looking into what happens if you don’t. Will they make a guarantor pay your loan? Will they give you a fine? Make sure you know the terms and conditions well before you agree to anything. You don’t want to end up with a nasty surprise down the line if something unexpected happens. Some loan companies can be really understanding if you can’t pay them back and will even be willing to come up with a new repayment plan for you. This is why researching them first is crucial. You don’t want bailiffs knocking on your door the second you miss a payment!

Have You Found A Reputable Lender? If you’ve decided that a short term loan is for you, then finding a reputable lender is crucial. A cashfloat short term loan is a popular choice for those looking into reputable lenders. Make sure you research different lenders that you could potentially work with and read reviews from real people so you get an idea of the experience that they had, too. You can see if you can find a forum to help you figure out who the best lender for you is. People who have actually worked with the lender will be the best people for you to speak with. Make sure you read the terms and conditions and know exactly what you’re getting yourself into before you go ahead and take out a loan.

Make sure you ask yourself these questions and be honest with yourself before you even think about taking out a short term loan. If you know that you don’t have a genuine emergency on your hands, it’s better if you avoid the loan. If you do have a real emergency and you need money fast, make sure you find the best short term loan deal for you. This isn’t a decision that you should make lightly, so take your time and evaluate all of your possible options before coming up with your solution.

Must-Have Tools For The Serious DIY Lover

Standard

DIY enthusiasts can be found all over. Some people start doing DIY out of necessity but soon find that they love it. Others try their hand at some tasks because they think it will be fun and they discover that it is. Some people do a bit of casual DIY, but a few can get really into it. Serious DIYers will start with fixing a few things but will soon find themselves coming up with their own projects that they carry out. They will happily invent something to make or improve upon if they get to do some DIY. These people need to make sure they have the right tools. They need something a little more powerful than the standard items to make sure that they are making the most of their DIY. Like some of these, for example:

Power Sanders: Any DIY enthusiast worth their salt who likes to work with wood needs to have a power sander. Sure, using sandpaper is excellent for finishing something off, but you don’t want to do everything by hand when you have a huge project to tackle. If you want to take on a big project, you’ll need something more powerful to help you out. Sanding will help to prepare a surface or finish it off at the end of a project. There are different types of sanders to consider, though, so it’s important to get the right one. They include belt, disk, pad and random orbit sanders.

diy2

 Handy is dandy!

Impact Drivers: If you’re a fan of DIY, you’re likely to have a power drill or screwdriver. However, if you’re serious about DIY, you should consider getting an impact driver. An impact driver is like a power screwdriver but with much more weight behind it. It has more force behind it, allowing you to drive a screw further into any surface. You can find out more about impact drivers on any good DIY or product review website.

Angle Grinders: Angle grinders are excellent because they will do several jobs at once. They can cut, sand, grind, and polish materials. If you’re a DIY enthusiast with a limited amount of space, this is the one tool that you should consider investing in. It’s one of the most recommended tools to have in your DIY kit so you might want to choose it over some other options. They don’t need to be expensive and you can find them at different price points from excellent brands.

Nailers: It may seem like a simple tool, but a nail gun should be in any DIY lover’s tool arsenal. Who wants to waste time with a hammer, pounding nails into various materials and surfaces? A nailer takes the pain out of the job, making putting in multiple nails quick and easy. It might be a relatively simple tool, but it can be one of the best for a dedicated DIY enthusiast. It can help out tremendously with tasks both big and small.

Odds & Ends: If you are gifting for a DIYer but a new piece of equipment isn’t in your budget, why not assemble a package of odds and ends? Those little somethings that people who DIY can’t get enough of. It could be a Socket Head Cap Screw, magnetic wristbands to hold nails, or even blueprint paper. Whatever you choose, it is sure to be well used.

Anyone who loves DIY should make sure that they have the best tools for carrying out their work. If you take it seriously, your tools should be serious, too!
