No matter how you or your children are learning, I want to hear about it! What has home schooling been like? Do you have a how to guide to make cloth face masks? Hello! Wow, what a weird time amiright? Ohio’s stay at home order has been officially pushed back to May first so “normal” life seems even farther away than ever. I am so thankful for my quarantine buddy, Johnny, who has kept me company and sane this whole time. I am also thankful for our new addiction of Animal Crossing for also keeping us company and sane this whole time, lol.
It’s a very awkward time to be a blogger right now because it’s sure hard to make content when you can’t go shopping anywhere/do anything. So, major kudos to everyone still sitting down at their laptop and making posts happen even if they have nothing to do with your regular subject matter because it’s difficult.
I, for one, am struggling with keeping up with my once daily posting. So, I thought that it would be fun to accept writing prompts in the comments for future posts. It could be anything that comes to mind or a question that you might have for me. And, I’ll reply with a writing prompt back for you. Let’s see what happens!
What should I write about next? What should you write about next? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah
Hello everyone! After what felt like a never ending winter, spring is definitely starting to… Well, spring, in my neck of the woods. Finally! An increase in temperature means reading outside, walks in the park with the pups, and day trips to the zoo. Warmer weather also brings us beautiful blooms, floral dresses, and soft, fresh makeup. I don’t know about all of ya’ll, but I am so there for it!
If you are too, then how about guest blogging a spring themed post on lifewithlilred? Your article topic is up to you as long as it has something to do with the new season at hand. Spring cleaning tips, perhaps? Or maybe how to host a flower planting party with your friends? And, let’s not forget about all of the gorgeous spring OOTDs and MOTDs!
If you are interested, please shoot me an email at: email@example.com
Can’t wait to see what you come up with! xx
Hello! While scrolling through Facebook the other day, I stumbled upon a news article that someone posted about a Wisconsin man, Gene Weittenhiller, who is currently dying of cancer. In this article it explained the hardship and that his last Christmas wish is to receive a ton of Christmas cards. You can read the full article here if you would like more details.
Gene is a father, grandfather, and loving husband and his story touched me. So, the following day, I sent out a Christmas card myself to Prairie Du Sac, Wisconsin in the hopes that it would give him a little holiday cheer from Akron, Ohio. But, how wonderful would it be if he received cards from all over the world? Cue the lifewithlilred platform!
If you would like to send off a card to Mr. Weittenhiller, you can do so to this address to give him his best holiday yet:
410 20th St.
Prairie du Sac, WI 53578
I hope that all of my darling readers can take some time out of their day to spread some happiness to a family who is in such desperate need of it. My heart goes out to the Weittenhillers and my wish is that their mailbox is overflowing with holiday cards daily. ❤
Who is sending out a Christmas card to Gene? Where in the world are you located? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah

Hiii everyone! Unfortunately in Ohio, we didn’t get to enjoy a whole lot of spring weather. It was desperately cold with a few nice days and now we have already skyrocketed into temperatures in the 80’s. I am so not thrilled about it, because Lil Red was not made for extreme heat. So, with summer weather basically here in Ohio, I figured I would announce a call to action for some guest bloggers!
If you have a warm weather OOTD or MOTD, summer vaca travel tips, favorite recipes, or activities and want to share it with my audience in over one hundred and eighty different countries, then please shoot me an email at: email@example.com . I look forward to hearing from all of you! Much love. -Sarah
