New Merch Drop

Hello! I have been working as the social media manager for Ohio’s premier personal injury lawyer, Tim Misny, since April of last year. I truly consider myself to be the luckiest girl in the world because it is a dream job and I love every minute of it. The best part about my job is everything but what I am especially partial to outside of creating content is assisting with billboard and merch designs. Tim’s billboards are an institution in Ohio and it is an honor to have had some input on them!

One of our most popular billboards is, easily, our Warhol inspired print and I am thrilled because we just made it in hoodie form for Misny Merch:

Misny Merch is the gift that keeps on giving. Not only will you look ultra cool BUT you will be helping those in need with your purchase. ALL proceeds from Misny Merch benefits the Cleveland City Mission, which is a charity Tim holds very close to his heart. It is so important to Tim to give back to our beloved community and Misny Merch does just that. Our merch is also incredibly special to me because that’s how Tim and I first met – through an OOTD I shot wearing some of our signature swag. It really is something that hits me in the nostalgia every time because it has been a whirlwind since I posted that outfit. I wouldn’t have it any other way!

I am wearing my Warhol hoodie as I type this and it is so snuggly and warm – perfect for the single digit temperatures we are currently experiencing. I had many people compliment it as well as question who it is on the picture lol. Tim has really fallen into IYKYK status and once you are in on it is when the magic happens. Your eye will forever be drawn to his many, many billboards every time you hop in the car. Misny Merch is ideal for those in the fandom and, if not, I think it would be hilarious to have a subliminal shirt of a personal injury lawyer from Ohio! Either way, your order is going to do a world of good for those at the City Mission. ❤

Something Cool!!!

Hello!! I have been working as the social media manager for Tim Misny since the end of April. It has been the best experience and there is always something new and exciting to look forward to every day. While I love going to different events with Tim, one of my favorite things to do is simply shoot content. It is, after all, the cornerstone of my job and collaborating with Tim on what we should create next is SO much fun. This past week, I visited Misnyland to shoot three different videos. One was for a new Halloween themed contest, the other was a video with Tim and yours truly modeling some new Misny Merch, and the last one was Tim talking about the importance of voting.

I had absolutely no idea that Tim wanted to use the voting video to fill his regular Friday morning spot on CBS so it was a wonderful surprise. We recently received the final edit and I wanted to share it with all of you:

When I saw Version 2.0 of my video, I was completely shook. What started out as a video that I assumed was strictly for social media became a newsworthy clip and it will be airing every Friday until the election. I am SO incredibly proud of this and thankful for each and every opportunity that this job has given me. Honestly, if you would have told me at the beginning of 2024 that I would be stepping into a full fledged social media career with Ohio’s biggest local celebrity – I would have asked you if you were high lol. Yet, here we are and even if I have been in this roll for almost half a year, every day still feels like a dream come true. ❤

I know that the vast majority of you have no idea who Tim Misny is when I reference him and that’s okay! Regardless, I would be so appreciative if you followed his pages anyways because they sure are fun. And, as a bonus, you get a peek into what little old me is up to for work in real time. New Job – No Prob!!

Hello!! As you all know, Johnny and I have become friends with Ohio’s favorite personal injury lawyer, Tim Misny. The past half a year or so has been an absolute whirlwind because of it and I still have to pinch myself that I even know Tim at all lol. Since meeting Tim, we have collaborated on lots of cool content, enjoyed delicious food and the best company a gal could ask for. I thought I was lucky before, but that changed completely thanks to a phone call this past Monday. Now, I consider myself the luckiest girl in the world!

On Monday, I received a call from Tim’s office manager with an offer… To work as the social media manager for Tim Misny!!! This is not my first rodeo doing social media management, but this is most definitely the biggest person I have worked with yet. Tim truly is a celebrity in Ohio and when I say that everyone knows who he is, I mean everyone and their brother. Creating content with Tim this winter was a blast, but I never in my wildest dreams thought that it would turn into an opportunity like this. 😀

With my new position, I will be working hard to freshen up Tim’s social media pages through interactive content, contests, and interviews. In fact, we just shot our first video to start that process on Thursday! I have also been designing new clothing and products for the Misny Merch line. I am particularly excited about this because it’s no secret that I love fashion and I have a ton of ideas to make the merch line really pop. It’s like this job was made for me!

I have been working towards a job like this since lifewithlilred began almost a decade ago. I feel like it is my big break and I am going to savor every moment of it. Misnyland Spring Picnic

Hello!! Way back in November of last year was the first time I visited my friend and Ohio’s favorite personal injury lawyer, Tim Misny, at Misnyland. This was thanks to a contest that I won for rocking his Misny Merch line in an OOTD post. Over the past month and change, Tim hosted a similar merch contest with the prize being a picnic at Misnyland last weekend. Johnny and I were invited to go and we were elated because it has been a while since we had some quality Tim Time. The picnic was an absolute blast and the weather was just right for an afternoon outdoors. I think we looked pretty snazzy too:

The picnic this past weekend was basically a repeat of the party Johnny and I attended last year. Hey, if it’s not broken don’t fix it because Tim knows how to throw a get together! There was music playing, delicious pizza from Tim’s favorite shop, golf cart tours of the property, photo ops, and mingling with Tim and new friends. And, yes, I mean new actual friends because Johnny and I made some and we are thrilled. Their names are Grant and Amanda, an adorable married couple who were invited because of an artistic masterpiece:

Grant is the owner of Matrix Tattoo and completed this piece of Tim Misny’s iconic eyebrow arch a week or so before the party (the recipient of the tattoo was invited too). As soon as this picture was posted, my Facebook was blowing up from people tagging me in it and I sent it off to Tim because I knew he’d get a kick out of it. I was assuming he would extend an invite to the picnic their way and am so glad he did because they were the coolest. Grant and Amanda had so much in common with Johnny and I and we are so excited to have a game night with them soon. 😀

Tim Misny’s parties are the best because you get to meet so many new people who you already have a perfect ice breaker with – You’re all fans of Tim! It can be so hard to meet anybody new when all you do is work and watch Criminal Minds lol. Johnny and I haven’t socialized in a group setting in so long and, I have to admit, we were both a little rusty. By the end of the party, however, we didn’t want to leave because we had so much left to say to all of our new friends. Whether it’s through his billboards or a party on his own property, Tim Misny sure knows how to bring people together. ❤

Be on the look out for brand new content with Tim and I soon for the release of the spring and summer Misny Merch line. It’s going to be a hoot!

Dinner At Misnyland

Hello!! One of the coolest things that lifewithlilred has ever done for me is thanks to this OOTD rocking some MisnyMerch. That outfit helped me win a contest to attend a party at Misnyland to meet Ohio’s most famous personal injury lawyer, Tim Misny. At said party, I was able to conduct an interview with Tim, we hit it off, and the rest is history. Since then, we have created tons of content together with me as a MisnyMerch spokesmodel and it has been a dream!

While the work is neat, the best part has been making a new friend. Johnny, Tim, and I get along like three peas in a pod and it is a blast to hang out altogether. This past week, Tim treated Johnny and I to dinner at his place to show off his culinary skills and everything was divine:

Something Tim and I really bonded over was our shared love of cooking and serving meals for our family and friends. Next time we do dinner, I call dibs on helping Tim in the kitchen, but he prepared everything himself this time and I felt so spoiled. I can’t remember the last time I sat down while someone else cooked! For our meal, Tim made guacamole, breaded eggplant, tomato bisque, and baked perch for him and Johnny. I was very touched that Tim took the time to consult with me on his menu first to make sure he accommodated my vegetarianism. Everything was SO tasty and I was most impressed by the speed that Tim cooked with. This meal was ready within a half hour and that really blew my mind. Cooking is my me time so I like to draw it out lol.

Johnny and I often get asked what Tim is like in real life and I always say he’s just a guy! Then, I proceed to say that he is simply hilarious, smart as all get out, and a genuinely good person. Johnny and I rarely have the opportunity to make new friends and we enjoy our “Tim Time” so very much. When I began this post, note that I said “one” of the coolest things lifewithlilred has done for me. The top coolest thing my blog has given me is the gift of friendship with countless amazing people and, in this case, I got that too! ❤

I am so thankful to my blog and I always have a moment of “yes!” whenever I interact with anyone that it has put in my path. More Tim Misny X Lil Red collaborations are coming soon so keep your eyes peeled!

Merry & Bright OOTD Bloopers

Hello everyone and welcome to the blooper reel from my Merry & Bright OOTD! This past weekend, Johnny and I took some charming couples shots and OOTD pics of us rocking a sweater from the Misny Merch holiday collection. Working with Tim Misny is, easily, the coolest thing that my blog has ever done for me other than meeting all of my amazing blogging besties. He is an absolute hoot and it is such fun to create content with him! Unfortunately, Tim wasn’t with us when Johnny and I took pics, but we did have the next best thing: A Tim Misny pillow and a whole lot of bloopers. Check it out:

Not much else to do but get my phone and give up. Maybe next OOTD I can get that foot poppin!

I have often been asked since I started to work with Tim Misny how it even happened in the first place. To better explain, let me create a timeline for you…

May: Tim announced the launch of Misny Merch along with a contest to snap a pic rocking your purchase for a chance to meet him at Misnyland. I told my dad about it and he bought me some swag for my birthday.

A Few Days Later: I shot this OOTD and entered the contest. I later learned that I won!!

November: The Misnyland party got pushed back from a summer BBQ to a fall celebration. Johnny and I went together and nearing the end of the party, I asked Tim if he had time for a quick interview. This “quick” Q & A turned into a half hour long conversation and we only ended our gab sesh because he had to bid farewell to the party guests. We did, however, exchange our contact info with the promise of working together again.

Here & Now: Since the party, Tim and I have been in frequent contact and ended up shooting a holiday video to show off the Misny Merch. We have grand plans for all of the content including creating a podcast together, tons of videos, and lots of photo shoots!

This newfound friendship with Tim has been a whirlwind and Johnny and I enjoy our time with him so very much. All I can say is, if you ever have an opportunity put in front of you: Go for it! I was SO nervous to ask Tim for a chat at the party, but I did and everything is coming up Misny and lifewithlilred. I can’t wait to see what we come up with next!

Merry & Bright OOTD

Howdy!! Johnny and I took some couples holiday photos which you saw yesterday to show off some new Misny Merch. My husband simply worked it and our Tim Misny pillow and holiday sweaters didn’t look too bad either! Wearing our Santa suit Tim sweaters together was a hoot. This was my first time wearing a holiday themed piece of clothing since I was little and I couldn’t have picked a better one to break the over two decade long hiatus. While taking couples photos was my primary goal from this shoot, I had to take a few OOTD shots too! May I present, my Merry & Bright OOTD:

Whenever I am styling an OOTD, I always start out by identifying a key piece to create a look around. While it is fun to go shopping in my wardrobe boutique, it can be overwhelming to have all of those options! My Merry & Bright OOTD was an incredibly easy one to style because the Tim Misny holiday sweater was the outfit’s focal point. Not only is the image on the sweater bold, but it is huge too and that was my sign to keep the rest of the look simple. Additional touches like a necklace or cold weather accessories would have instantly formed a cluttered appearance, which is not the way to go when you want to showcase one particular item.

Next on the agenda was jeans and to maintain the “simple is best” approach, I put on my plain black skinnies. Originally, I had on my pair of coated Seven Jeans and it was an instant no no. The sheen of them against the muted sweater didn’t look cohesive in the slightest. It was more like two separate pieces working against each other rather than being complimentary. Instead of trying on more pairs with distressing or patterns, I went with my old standby and am glad I did!

Finally, it was onto shoes and accessories. Since the sweater was green and featured a holiday motif, I decided to go red with the finishing touches. For shoes, I selected a darling pair of heeled boots by Bamboo. The pointed toe and bright hue are so sassy and added some fun attitude to the outfit. These boots also feature an amazing surprise, which you can see in the second to last photo. I love the tassel zipper! Last on the agenda was earrings and I chose a dangly pair of red hearts. These helped create some length to my neck since everything else was covered up and tied the look together from head to toe.

Happy Holidays To You

Hello!!! Johnny and I have been having a blast rocking all of our new Misny Merch and we just had to take some couples pictures this weekend to show it off. Misny Merch is truly the gift that keeps on giving. For starters, you will look freaking awesome in it but, most importantly, all proceeds from each purchase goes towards supporting the Cleveland City Mission. Unfortunately, our friend Tim Misny couldn’t be with us for this photo shoot. However, we got the next best things! A Tim Misny pillow and holiday sweaters!! Nothing says “merry and bright” like Tim in a Santa suit and I honestly think that Johnny and I will be wearing our sweaters year round. They are SO comfortable and are warm without feeling like you are in your own personal sweat lodge. There is nothing worse than a stuffy sweater and this one by Misny Merch is the definition of “just right”. Whether you wear it on the go or simply to lounge in, this is a piece from the holiday collection that you don’t want to miss!

It’s always fun to play dress up in all of our Misny swag, but the funnest thing was taking pictures with Johnny. As a doting blog husband, he takes my OOTD shots almost every weekend. lifewithlilred would not be the same without all of his help! While we do take selfies fairly often or, rather, I take selfies and Johnny makes a stank face, we don’t have a lot of “nice” pictures together. I was so happy to be able to take these holiday shots with my main squeeze and I treasure them so much. These holiday shots sum up our very loving and very goofy relationship to the T. Showcasing our new Misny Merch was the perfect cherry on top. ❤

Misny Merch Reveal

Hello!!! Way back in May, I won a contest to hang out with one of Ohio’s biggest local celebrities thanks to this OOTD. His name is Tim Misny and he is our premiere personal injury lawyer best known for his billboards that are literally everywhere and signature catchphrase of “I’ll make them pay”. Fast forward to November and I got to spend time at his estate called Misnyland with Johnny and other contest winners. During the party, I was able to snag an interview with Tim and we became fast friends. So much so that we are collaborating together to create content!

This experience has been a whirlwind and Tim and I had an absolute blast making a video to showcase his Misny Merch collection. The coolest thing about Misny Merch is that all proceeds from each purchase benefits the Cleveland City Mission, which is a charity very close to Tim’s heart. When I say that Tim is iconic in my neck of the woods, I mean he is iconic. The image featured on these products can be seen on billboards all throughout Ohio and everyone would know that eyebrow arch anywhere! In the video we made together, we got to show off the entire merch collection with a special feature about the holiday line that includes goodies like the Tim Misny ornament, stocking, puzzle, and apparel that you will see later on my page. These make for a perfect gift for yourself or a friend and is a gift that keeps on giving because it helps the Cleveland City Mission. Talk about putting your money to good use!

Johnny and I are stoked to put our Tim Misny puzzle together and we plan on gluing the end result to hang up in our apartment. The stocking is hilarious and our ornament is proudly displayed on our knick knack shelf that holds our ornament collection that has been growing since the beginning of our relationship. It just might be my favorite one yet! The travel and coffee mug have already been put to excellent use and as Tim would say, “it’s my mug on a mug” lol. There’s no better part of waking up than with Tim Misny on your cup or whatever that coffee slogan is. 😀
