New Debut Crochet Sweater

New Debut Crochet Sweater

Hello!! I had a lovely shopping date at TJMaxx with Johnny’s mom last week and it was a very successful trip. Why? Because it is one of my favorite times of the year! Summer clothes are going on clearance and fall clothes are being reintroduced. While the store wasn’t bursting at the seams with jackets, sweaters, and cardigans; I saw a glimmer and I was loving it. As an added treat for yours truly, TJMaxx launched their Halloween home decor collection already! You can peep my purchase from that department tomorrow. Now, let’s take a look at this adorable sweater by Debut:

image_50765057image_50427393(5)image_50730753(1)

When I saw this pretty little thing hanging on the rack, I literally gasped. It was just SO cute and one of those pieces that I instantly knew was going home with me. I had never seen anything like it before and I was enamored. The color bursts against the creamy base made me smile and I couldn’t think of anything better to begin my fall shopping with. Although I did find some summer pieces that I liked a lot during previous trips, they could all kick rocks as far as I was concerned. Fall was officially here… At TJMaxx, anyways. 😀

I wasn’t surprised when I tried my Debut sweater on and it was amazing. Like I said, I just knew! Everything about it worked. While it was a cropped sweater, it hit right where a normal rise pair of jeans would begin. This was great because I never understood why anyone would want their stomach bare when it’s chilly out! The crochet style was also just right. Although there were gaps in the fabric, it wasn’t so big that my bra was visible through them. Winning marks all around and all of the outfit ideas began to swarm!

Once this sweater was on, I really didn’t want to take it off. I loved it so much lol and it was comfy as can be. I have been eager to begin styling fall OOTDs for so long and I know exactly what I’m going to feature as soon as the temperature begins to drop!

What is your favorite season to shop for? What is fall like in your neck of the woods? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah

New Barbie Girl Dress!

New Barbie Girl Dress!

Hello!!! With plans to see the Barbie movie, I needed to style a look that served. The only problem? I literally don’t own any pink clothing. None. None whatsoever. I had a TJMaxx shopping date scheduled with Johnny’s mom and if I didn’t find anything there, I reserved myself to wearing my wedding dress to the movie to be Emo Wedding Barbie lol. I was expecting the pink selection at TJMaxx to be picked over to nonexistent and, luckily, that wasn’t the case at all! There were tons of options available and I found a winner with this dress by See You Monday. Check it out:

image_50406145(6)image_50442241(6)image_50418433(7)

^^^ Such an artistic shot of the side cutouts haha

When I shop at TJs, I have no agenda and let whatever is there speak to me. This time was different because I had a plan in place and it involved looking for all things pink! It’s not that I don’t like the color pink, but it’s not my first choice for clothing at all. During a normal shopping trip, I would skip pink clothes on the rack and go straight to my preferred All Black Everything. Not in this case, though, and I swarmed to every pink thing I saw like bees to honey.

As I made my rounds, I was impressed with the selection of pink clothes and felt lucky that I made it before all of the Barbie goers picked everything clean. I found a few things that had the potential to work like a pink crop top and skirt and a romper. What I was really pulling for, however, was the See You Monday midi dress that I found. It was the only one in the entire store and the only thing that could have been an issue was the Small size.

When I slipped the dress on in the fitting room, it was a unique experience and it wasn’t just from the color. This dress is probably the most form fitting thing I have tried on aside from a few bodycon skirts in my closet. It felt foreign to wear something so close to the body that hugged every single curve. While this felt kind of weird at first, I began to like what I was seeing upon closer examination. I also found comfort in the fact that if this dress were in a Medium, it wouldn’t have fit just so and felt good about the size I had.

Once I shook off the initial shock of seeing myself in such a polar opposite piece to my preferences, I was feeling my goddamn self. The color was like an explosion against my pasty pale self and tattoos and it begged the question of why I avoided it before. The fit also turned into something that made me a bit uncomfortable into fully confident. This dress fit like a glove and it showed my body off in an entirely different way. It really flattered me and the side cutouts were everything! The placement of them was A+ too because they appeared where a bra typically ends to eliminate any peek a boos.

Without a doubt, this was the dress for me and I cannot wait to get dolled up for the Barbie movie. Keep it locked for this look as well as a review of the movie and more from my TJMaxx haul!

What is a color that you don’t normally wear? What kind of clothes puts you out of your comfort zone? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah

Brick By Brick OOTD

Brick By Brick OOTD

Hello everyone and welcome to a brand new OOTD here on lifewithlilred! Today, we are going to take a look at what I wore to the Brick Convention. An event centered around Lego means fun, fun, fun and I wanted an outfit to match. And, yes, the look you are about to see is delightfully reminiscent of my Simply Sassy OOTD – thanks for noticing lol. But, hey, if it’s not broken don’t fix it! Check it out:

image_50438657(4)image_50416385(10)image_50418433(6)image_50404097(9)image_50443009(6)

Who? What? Wear?

Snakeskin Tie Back Top: Japna, TJMaxx

Paint Splatter Pants: Premise, TJMaxx

Speech Bubble Heels: LFL, TJMaxx

Cuff/Chain Bracelet: Allsaints, TJMaxx

I have no idea where the earrings are from and the other bracelet is from Claire’s!

When I began styling my Brick By Brick OOTD, I had a few things that needed to be accomplished. The look had to be comfortable because we would be doing a lot of walking. And, of course, it had to be cute! I wanted something punchy and exciting to match the joy of Lego and my first thought went to my paint splatter pants by Premise. They gave all of the Jason Pollock vibes and I liked that they had a nod to an art form because Lego builds are art in themselves.

With the selection of the Premise pants, the rest of the OOTD was really easy to style because I don’t own much that would work with them. While patterned pants are a ton of fun, they can also be somewhat of a hindrance. Everything you own isn’t going to go with them as if they were a pair of blue jeans. With minimal options, I went with my snakeskin patterned tie back top by Japna. I was well aware that this was very similar to a previously styled look and I was okay with that, especially because the pattern on pattern gave a nice visual interest boost.

With the base of the outfit quickly settled, it was time for shoes and accessories. For shoes, I chose one of my many LFL speech bubble heels with the sentiments of “Blah, blah, blah”. These electric blue heels have such a wow factor and the cheeky phrase added that touch of playfulness I wanted. Not only did they fit the look, but they were also very comfortable and I could have walked around all day in them. Maybe not on the gravel we had to walk on to get to the convention, but definitely flat surfaces. 😀

Finally, it was time for accessories. To add some movement, I selected dangly earrings with turquoise crosses. I couldn’t tell you where I got them, but I love them lol. It was also a welcome pop of color around my face since the established palette was black and white. Then, I slipped on a few statement bracelets and I was SO ready to get my brick on!

Although I might not be a master at Lego builds, I am a formidable OOTD builder. This look was perfect for the Brick Convention and I know so – I was getting compliments left and right!

What is something that you are good at? What are some of your favorite Lego memories? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah

Dinner & A Show OOTD

Dinner & A Show OOTD

Hello everyone and welcome to a brand new OOTD here on lifewithlilred! Today, we are going to take a look at my date night look that I sported this past weekend. Johnny and I had a night on the town on Friday going to Applebee’s and seeing Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. It was a hoot! And, as always, we had to step out in our best to do date night right! Check it out:

image_50453505(4)image_50457601(6)image_50415361(6)image_50445569(6)image_50453761(6)

Who? What? Wear?

Aviator Print Button Down: Karl Lagerfeld, TJMaxx

Popsicle Print Scarf: BCBG, TJMaxx

Shorts: American Eagle Outfitters

Lace Up Heels: Juicy Couture, Kohl’s

Sunglasses: Sam Edelman, TJMaxx

The heart dangle earrings were purchased by my aunt at an estate sale!

The last date night Johnny and I went to was seeing Moulin Rouge at Playhouse Square. This was a situation that required actual fancy dress, but our dinner and a movie date night was all about Middle Class Fancy. Because of this, I decided to style a look that was fairly casual because there’s no point in settling in to watch a movie in something uncomfortable! I played around with several different options in my head before I settled on this OOTD and I love how it turned out. 😀

For this look, I was very inspired by my husband who can rock a bold button down like no other. I went with my Aviator print button down by Karl Lagerfeld for a few reasons. 1) It is the loudest button down I own and I still wanted this casual look to be a lot of fun. And 2) Johnny was sporting a black button down and mine was a perfect compliment to his:

image_50458625(8)

Very nice!!!!!!

Black shorts were the obvious way to go with my white and black top and then it was time for accessories. To start, I tied my BCBG popsicle print scarf around my neck as another ode to my A1. A pattern on top of a pattern can be a tricky styling technique to pull off. However, this worked because 1) The additional pattern came from a smaller accessory. And 2) The base of the scarf was white and that blended well with the shirt. The only thing you’re really seeing is the pop of color with the pale pink trim and blue popsicles.

With the base of my outfit settled, I popped on a pair of small dangly earrings of a red heart. I didn’t want to go overboard with additional accessories because the patterns I had on served as an accessory in themselves. These earrings added the slightest touch of movement to compliment the breezy scarf and gave an adorable color burst when they hit the light just right.

For shoes, I went with my lace up wedges by Juicy Couture. These heels are old as dirt, but I love them so very much and they are one of my favorite pairs. I chose them because their color palette really did tie the look together from head to toe. The black laces, of course, paired with the sunglasses pattern. And, the creamy base was just right with the soft shades of the scarf. With that, I was ready to go!

My Dinner & A Show OOTD was all about being comfortably cute and it was exactly what I needed for our date night. It was also such fun to wear an outfit that meshed with Johnny’s so well. My lil style icon! ❤

What is your favorite date night location? What movie are you looking forward to seeing in theaters? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah

Bathing Beauty OOTD

Bathing Beauty OOTD

Hello!!! After years (and I mean a literal decade) of having the same swimsuit, I finally found a new one during my last TJMaxx shopping trip. This find was a happy accident because the only reason that I looked at the picked over bathing suits was to say I tried. I never expected to find a swimsuit that was absolutely perfect for me, but here we are having an OOTD about it. I couldn’t wait to hit the pool to show off and, of course, take some pictures! Check it out:

image_50446081(7)image_50431489(7)image_50440193(4)image_50454017(5)image_50450177(6)image_50460417(5)image_50457345(5)

Who? What? Wear?

One Piece Swimsuit: Gottex, TJMaxx

Wedge Heels: Charles By Charles David, TJMaxx

Sun Hat: Nicole Marciano, TJMaxx

Sunglasses: Circus By Sam Edelman, TJMaxx

I have a very expansive clothes, shoes, and accessories collection and bathing suits have never been included in that for a few reasons. 1) I don’t go to the pool too often so my old Victoria’s Secret suit always worked for me. 2) The suits I liked online were expensive. 3) I didn’t want the same swimsuit as anyone else if I were to purchase one in store. So, I just didn’t really bother and I was fine with that.

The swimsuits that I loved online all tended to have a vintage vibe with adorable skirts, ruffles, and patterns. However, I wasn’t about to spend over one hundred dollars for it and I resigned myself with the knowledge that finding something similar in store wouldn’t happen. I was beyond surprised to eat my words when I found my Gottex suit at TJMaxx because it had everything that I required. 1) It had a bra style top and thick supportive straps. 2) It was my favorite color. 3) It had that vintage feel that I wanted.

Trying it on in the fitting room was a nerve wracking experience because I was SO worried that it wouldn’t fit and it was the only one on the rack. After slipping it on and having GREAT SUCCESS, a million ideas to accessorize it began to form. I still have a few tricks up my sleeve for future pool shoots, but the look you see above is the first thing that came to mind. It turned out exactly how I pictured and Johnny told me I looked like Betty Boop so it doesn’t get better than that! 😀

For my Bathing Beauty OOTD, I started with my sun hat selection. Although I could have paired it with a black floppy hat for more cohesion, I decided against it. All of my black hats are felt and while that is great for fall looks, it just doesn’t say summer. I was already thinking of my “Bonjour” sun hat by Nicole Marciano and I stuck with it. Although it didn’t fully match the suit, I thought it still worked really well as the straw hue played beautifully against the white, purple, and turquoise detailing at the top of the suit.

My shoe selection was an easy choice to make and I went with my wedge sandals by Charles By Charles David. These wedges are fantastic for a trip to the pool and they are so comfortable. I could walk for forever in them! They also brought further cohesion from the top down with the sun hat I chose and the straw and cork wedge of the heel. Finally, one is never complete for going to the pool without a gigantic pair of sunnies. I put on my octagonal pair by Sam Edelman and I was ready to WERK!

I felt like a movie star lounging by the pool in my Bathing Beauty OOTD and I can’t wait to go again ASAP. Keep it posted for bloopers from this shoot as well as more pool looks coming soon!

How often do you buy a new swimsuit? Which era of style inspires you? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah

A Night At The Theater OOTD

Hello everyone and welcome to a brand new OOTD here on lifewithlilred!! Yesterday, you read my review for mine and Johnny’s date night viewing of Moulin Rouge at Playhouse Square. Today, we will be checking out what I wore for our Night At The Theater. Half of the fun of going to a show is getting dressed up! It’s a blast to not only get dolled up yourself, but to see what other people are rocking for their theater’s best. I LOVED the look that I put together so let’s get to it:

image_50726913(2)image_50455553(2)image_50732801(1)(1)image_50442753(8)image_50727169(7)

Who? What? Wear?

Floral Dress: ModCloth, Coconinno

Fringe Shawl: TJMaxx, Laundry

Black Heels: Show Story

Gold Earrings: American Eagle Outfitters

When I am styling OOTDs for Playhouse Square, it is important to me to create looks that are glam and unique. As I mentioned, a lot of the fun for me comes from styling and I want fits that make me stand out in the crowd of theatergoers. This particular outfit was a little ditty that I came up with in my head and it turned out exactly how I pictured it. I love when that happens! 😀

Let’s start with the dress. It’s actually kind of funny, I got this dress by Coconinno from ModCloth when my brother got married in 2015. This is the first time I have worn it since then and I am pleased to report that it still fit like a charm lol. Why haven’t I worn it in almost a decade, you might ask? I don’t know, honestly! It’s beautiful, of course, but I just never felt like I had another occasion to wear it for. So, it sat sentinel in my closet for years.

This dress wasn’t my first option, but I realized that I had exhausted all of the pieces that I would normally wear for a Playhouse outing. The remainder of the clothes I had to pick from were too casual for both the setting and a show like Moulin Rouge that examines the finer things in life. This dress was an afterthought and now I don’t know why I didn’t wear it sooner! The fit was divine and the big, gorgeous blooms in a jewel toned palette made me feel like the star of the show.

As I styled this outfit in my head, I knew that the dress itself wasn’t going to be enough. It was too hot for a jacket and my faux fur shawls were a been there done that accessory. The solution? The adorably charming fringe shawl by Laundry! I am obsessed with this piece from the flowery lace to the hanging tassels. Once it was on, it almost looked like it could have been part of the dress and that is what I was hoping for. Something that looked built in rather than simply placed on top.

Next on the agenda was shoes and I chose the heels by Show Story that I wore for mine and Johnny’s wedding. With so much wedding attire in one look, I should have put my veil on too! A dress like the one I was wearing was begging for a killer pair of pumps, which is a style that I don’t own any pairs in other than my wedding heels. These were the obvious and only choice and the vertebrae heel added the edge that is a necessary part of all of my looks.

Finally, it was time to accessorize and all I did was wear a small gold dangly pair of earrings from American Eagle Outfitters. There were several reasons for this minimal approach. 1) Long earrings or a necklace would have taken away from the neckline that was established. 2) The bold dress pattern and the fringe shawl served as accessories in themselves. 3) A lot of my tattoos were visible and I prefer for them to do the talking. With all of that in mind, why would I need anything more than a little touch of bling?

I have styled countless looks for Playhouse Square shows and this one is definitely in my top three. I felt awesome in it and my vision came to life perfectly. Keep it posted for bloopers and pics from the rest of our Moulin Rouge extravaganza coming soon!

What is your favorite occasion to dress for? What is the oldest piece of clothing you have in your closet? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah

Summer Switch Up OOTD

Summer Switch Up OOTD

Hello!!! I have grown SO weary of summer OOTDs as of late because a majority of my wardrobe is tailored towards my preferred cooler weather. While I have really liked all of the past looks that I have styled, none of them have wowed me and that, I don’t like. During my birthday gift card shopping spree at TJMaxx, I was desperate to find some summer clothes to switch things up. The fashion gods answered my plea with a gorgeous new swimsuit and the trapeze pants featured in this OOTD:

image_50746625image_50734081(2)image_50725889(1)image_50454017(4)image_50456577(10)image_50447361(2)

Who? What? Wear?

Crop Top: This was a hand me down from my sister and the jury is out on where she got it from!

Trapeze Pants: Patrons Of Peace, TJMaxx

Platform Heels: Bamboo/Cape Robbin, TJMaxx

Earrings: American Eagle Outfitters

Both bracelets are from American Eagle Outfitters

My Summer Switch Up OOTD was incredibly easy to style because it spoke for itself. A plain top in any of the colors from the trapeze pants would have worked perfectly. I don’t have too many clothes that are completely plain which was a must since the pants were so bold. I did, however, have a navy crop top so that was definitely the move!

The Patrons Of Peace pants are very exciting because there are an endless amount of styling possibilities that come with it. All you have to do is pull from one of the many colors in the pattern and go from there. Could you imagine these with a chic rose turtleneck or burnt orange cardigan come fall? Or just a stark white tank top during the summer would be lovely. This is exactly the type of thing I needed to breathe some new life into my summer wardrobe. And, now that I know what summer clothes can be, it makes me want to go shopping even more lol.

Since the base of the outfit was a snap to put together, shoes and accessories were next on the agenda. Platform heels were necessary because these pants would not have suited my five foot one frame without them. I chose my dark wash denim platforms by Bamboo/Cape Robbin with an embroidered flower heel. Unfortunately, the pants were too long to see them well in the pictures but I can assure you that they were very cute! Even when I wear heels, I never feel “tall” in them. But, in this case, I felt a mile long with the silhouette that was created and it felt… different. Haha, it was cool but I needed to adjust to the major altitude change once I was back in comfy clothes!

Finally, it was time to accessorize and I kept things minimal as per ushe with my summer OOTDs. Even if I didn’t have a ton of tattoos visible in this look, I still would have kept it light with accessories. The Patrons Of Peace pants were an accessory in themselves with the statement pattern! I went with a small pair of gold dangly earrings, a bangle, and a cuff bracelet and that was that. Within five minutes, my look was complete and I felt completely runway ready for the first time this summer. 😀

I am beyond thrilled with this look and I felt like a gajillion bucks in it. I guess dressing for summer isn’t so bad after all!

What is your favorite statement piece in your wardrobe? Have you refreshed your summer clothes? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah

June 2023 Finishes

June 2023 Finishes

Hello everyone and welcome to my beauty finishes for June!! Johnny and I had a fantastic birthaversary month with lots to celebrate. Now that the festivities are over, it is time to focus our attention on the next big thing: Halloween. It’s never too early for us to start thinking about our other favorite time of the year! This past month, I enjoyed lots of great products with only one dud that came as a surprise to me. It was a serum that I had used religiously in the past, but just didn’t hit the same this time around. Let’s discuss further:

image_50386945(6)

Would I Use Again?

Evoluderm Micellar Water: YES

Tree Of Life Vitamin C Serum: NO!!!!!

Bath & Body Works Sun-Ripened Raspberry Body Cream: YES

Honest Beauty Calm & Heal Melting Balm: YES

Why/Why Not?

Tree Of Life Serum: Back in 2021, I was using the Tree Of Life Vitamin C serum regularly for several months until I switched things up. I always thought that it worked well, even if it wasn’t my all time favorite. So, when I saw it available at TJMaxx during a January Haul, I instantly added it to my cart. The first time I used it after almost two years, I was taken aback by how much I didn’t like it. The texture of the serum was thick and a decent amount was needed to cover my full face and neck. It also didn’t absorb as well as I would have liked, either. After only three weeks, I completely used up the bottle and my skin had nothing to show for it in terms of a radiance boost. I was very happy to be done with it and now I know that some past used products are better to be left in the past.

B&BW Lotion: Sun-Ripened Raspberry is one of my favorite old school scents from Bath & Body Works and I always have to buy a few lotions or shower gels during their Semi Annual Sales. I don’t use the Body Creams by B&BW too often because they are more expensive than what a full size freebie coupon covers. However, I am VERY impressed with it whenever I get the chance to use it. The shea butter and Hyaluronic Acid base is so nourishing and my skin feels amazing after every use. Any slightly dry patches on my arms feel like they are gone in an instant and it leaves my skin looking and feeling healthy. It took me over three weeks of nighttime use to finish the bottle.

Honest Balm: The Calm & Heal Melting Balm by Honest Beauty was the first product from that brand I ever tried and it was a home run. You can read more about it in my review above, but it is a moisturizer that I would definitely use again. It took about three and a half weeks of twice daily use to finish the jar and I was so sad when I did – it was that good! Highly, highly recommend – especially if you have a dryer skin type.

Even though the Tree Of Life serum sucked, I got to try a new brand out and use an old favorite so this month’s empties were still a GREAT SUCCESS. I am keeping my eyes peeled for more Honest Beauty products every time I go to TJMaxx!

Have you used an old faithful product after a while and been disappointed by it? What is your favorite Honest Beauty product? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah

Edom Vitamin C & Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizer Review

Edom Vitamin C & Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizer Review

Hello!!! I had really good luck with the moisturizers that I purchased during a TJMaxx haul in April. I tried three new to me brands and they were all awesome!! Today, we are going to discuss the last moisturizer that I got by Edom. It is a Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Acid formula and I have been using it day and night for over two weeks. I am loving it and was so happy to find another jar during my last shopping trip. Let’s get to it:

image_50448641(6)image_50380289(1)image_50393089(1)

This moisturizer has everything that I like in spades – A light fragrance, light texture, and the fact that I can feel it working instantly. Normally, I prefer a fragrance free moisturizer and the Edom one has a slight scent to it. It has a delicate hint of floral mixed in with the rich, creamy aroma and it is just right. It compliments the whipped, pillow soft texture so well and it is pleasant rather than overpowering. This moisturizer absorbs quickly despite its richness, but it still feels highly effective. Sometimes, a fast absorbing moisturizer makes you feel like you didn’t put anything on to begin with and I hate that!

As soon as the Edom moisturizer is applied, I can feel it sinking in and working its magic. It feels invigorating and kind of tingly. It also has a quick blast of coolness to it which feels refreshing after a hot shower. Within ten or so minutes, the moisturizer absorbs completely and the effects are astounding. My skin feels softer and more nourished with this formula than with any other moisturizer that I have used before. And that’s really saying something! Not only does my skin feel good, but it looks it too. I have noticed a huge difference in the evenness of my complexion and it simply glows after each use.

If you are looking for a new moisturizer, then I cannot recommend the Edom Vitamin C & Hyaluronic Acid one enough. It is, easily, the best moisturizer that I have ever used!

Do you like to try new skin care products or stick to a routine? What is the best skin care you have ever used? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah

New Patrons Of Peace Trapeze Pants

New Patrons Of Peace Trapeze Pants

Hello!!! As I have mentioned with every OOTD that I have created this summer, I really dislike dressing for summer. Cool and comfortable options are so limited and I am sick and tired of rotating a handful of shorts, skirts, and dresses as the days go by. During my TJMaxx birthday gift card shopping spree, I was hoping to find a new dress or skirt to add to the mix but didn’t find jack. I did, however, find a pair of amazing trapeze pants by Patrons Of Peace that are absolutely perfect for summertime wear. Take a look:

image_50435329(5)image_50768897(2)image_50805249image_50757633

I am a huge fan of trapeze pants, but have never found a pair that are right for me. I am barely over 5’1 and every pair that I have tried on before was overwhelming in width, length, or both. I found the Patrons Of Peace pair in the juniors’ department and was a bit ambivalent about adding them to my try on pile. I was in love with the bold pattern in a gorgeous array of colors, but I figured that they would be too long like usual. However, I put them into my cart anyways because I was already trying a swimsuit on (which you saw yesterday) and that had the potential of not working too.

In the fitting room, I was shocked and amazed by how well these pants worked. They were, unsurprisingly, a bit long in length but that’s an easy fix with a pair of platforms. Despite that, they were most flattering and that had everything to do with how these pants laid. Although the fabric is really breezy and billowy, it laid so closely to my body and the movement only came when I was moving too. I felt so good in these and had OOTD ideas swarming through my head as soon as they were on. Killer heels, a tight crop or tank top, and hair tossed up in a chic bun? Yes, yes, and YES!

I have been so bored with my summer wardrobe and my new trapeze pants are going to shake things up for sure. I like to think that I am very adventurous when it comes to my clothes, but my new swimsuit and pants took me out of my comfort zone and I can’t wait to rock them!

Have you updated your summer wardrobe? What did you get? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah
