Hello! lifewithlilred has brought me so many amazing opportunities since its birth over twelve years ago and I am so proud of my little corner of the internet. From working with way cool companies to meeting way cool people and having a space that it all my own to create in, I truly never know what is going to happen next when it comes to my blog. I certainly wasn’t expecting this latest development in the slightest!! I am so pleased to report that my thoughts have been featured in an article in The Strategist that discusses the best heated blankets! Take a look:

When I was contacted by one of the journalists from The Strategist, I sent in my reply and didn’t think much of it. Then, I looked at my blog stats and saw that I was getting traffic from the website and genuinely couldn’t believe it when I read the article. It was even better than I imagined and it was so crazy to see my blog and my name in a setting other than here and social media. After reading and rereading the article several times over, I jumped out of bed to shout the good news from the mountain tops to Johnny and he was elated. I then texted everyone I know (so like five to seven people) and put the word out on Facebook too! It was joyous for everyone to share in my excitement with me and I am still on cloud nine. ❤
Although lifewithlilred is my happy fun space, there is no question about it: It is a lot of work to maintain. I have posted daily content for so long that it is second nature but the process of creating and writing does take time and an insane amount of dedication. Seeing that article from The Strategist was confirmation that my hard work has been paying off and it just felt good. It was the assurance that there are people out there who are enjoying my page as much as I enjoy authoring it and that is, honestly, all I want from lifewithlilred. The rest is all just a beautiful added bonus!
