Sick As A Dog :(

Sick As A Dog :(

Helloooooo. No offense to all of the beautiful dogs in the world, but I sure was sick as one this past week. From Friday until Monday I was suffering from a nasty sore throat, aches, fatigue, and nausea – it was seriously enough to make a grown man cry. And, because I turn into an overemotional mess while sick, cry I did. You seriously take your health for granted until you start feeling like a big bag of butts.

But, I am feeling much better, and now things are back to normal here on lifewithlilred! You just didn’t get to hear me complain about my disease ridden self because of a little thing called pre-writing. But, I promise that you weren’t missing out on much! How do you cure the winter flu? What are some of your tried and true home remedies? I want to hear from all of you, so leave me a comment and let’s chat! Much love. -Sarah

  1. Sarah, I so hope you are feeling better! I returned from a four day trip to Michigan recently and fell kinda blah. Hot Chicken Soup and hugs from Vegas. ā¤ļøšŸŒ“šŸŒµšŸ˜Œ

  2. My form of medicine is laying in bed watching chick flicks and eating chicken noodle soup šŸ™‚ oh and tissues become my best friend during those days. We rarely part :p But in all honesty, when my sister and I were little my mom would have us gargle salt water and spit it out to help with a sore throat. Then our dad would get us hot and sour soup to clear our sinuses

  3. I hope you you’re feeling better?.
My remedies for this is taking antibiotics. And then i drink a lemon ginger tea, with a pinch of cinnamon and tumeric.

  4. Awe boo I am so sorry you were sick! Also twinsies! Because so was I and it sucked (-s because still have a disgusting cough!) I am glad you are on the mend. I usually cure it (or mentally make it better) with drinking way, way, WAY to much tea. It helps, but then I don’t want to see tea for the next year or until get sick again. ā¤
